Emma Watson will be the new face of Chanel’s fragrance Coco Mademoiselle. Ok…I don’t even know where to begin. Why Karl??? Why do you make an 18-year-old Harry Potter actress who pulled a Britney a few weeks ago the new face of Chanel? Chanel…the brand that stands for class and elegance. I don’t doubt that Emma is a sweet girl and a good actress, but in my opinion you can’t represent a brand like Chanel if you are only 18. But well… it’s “only” the Mademoiselle fragrance which is supposed to be the young,hip version of No5. so I can see what Karl might have thought when hiring Emma. Still… I would love to see women model for Chanel, not girls.There are rumors that Emma will get about 5 Mio. USD for a 2-year contract. I hope Karl’s “target a young audience plan” will pay off.
