This is the new f/w 08/09 campaign of Seven for all Mankind…my first thought was: “Oh Doutzen!!! Great!”  Second thought was:” Why doesn’t she dye her hairline???” And then my third thought was: “Weird background for a fashion campaign”. Don’t you think so too? Its a…glasshouse…in the middle of a forrest?! Who lives there? Yes…I know its a campaign and supposed to be artistic…still…I think its kinda weird. Doutzen looks good though, the fashion is boring except for the purple dress…I like that one. The ELLE Fashion Star awards took place last week and were a huge success. Models like Natasha Poly, Flavia de Oliveira or Toni Garrn presented dresses of the most popular designers in the world…what happened to those dresses? Well….you can admire them at the department store KaDeWe in Berlin. I went there today and took pics for you. Quite cool to see creations of labels like Escada, Dior, Gucci, Cavalli or Missoni in one room. I know this event took place like 2 two weeks ago so I am a lil slow….but I liked the pics I found and wanted to post about it anyways. So Victoria’s Secret PINK organized tis huge party/concert in Santa Monica for everyone who wanted to come….mostly students of course. You could shop the new Collegiate collection (I own a Hoodie of that collection and LOVE it), play games or just chill and meet other people while waiting for the Fall Out Boy concert at night. Last week the third season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin ended against the backdrop of 

beautiful Bebelplatz square in Berlin, where once more press, celebrities and the international 

fashion crowd gathered to celebrate the closing show of Vivienne Westwood. Ms. Westwood 

presented her Anglomania collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin for the second time, 

this time watching the show from the front row, along with Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall and 

many other VIPs and industry experts. Kim Cattrall had visited a number of fashion shows during 

her 5 day stay in Berlin to see the newest fashion trends for spring and summer 2009. After a 

stunning Anglomania show she jumped up from her seat along with the entire audience to show

So listen….everyone!!! You really really need to remember this name: Toni Garrn

She is on her way to become the next German topmodel…I would say she is the new Julia Stegner, but I don’t even like comparing people…everyone is unique. So this cute Toni is only 17 years old , was born in Hamburg and signed with NYC’s Women agency, got a contract with Calvin Klein and is on the current cover of German VOGUE. Now THATS what I call a great modeling career! She did a lot of shows last week during Berlin Fashion Week, such as Michalsky, Kilian Kerner, JOOP!, Strenesse and Basso and Brooke. After seeing all those great German topmodels at Berlin Fashion Week I decided to inform you guys about two of them…so first…Julia Stegner. She made it, people know her name, she walked for all the great designers including VS and she has tons of contracts like Guerlain, HUGO, Tods, GAP and now a new one…Maybelline. In the end of last year she signed a contract with Maybelline which will bring her lots of cash :p It’s funny though that they signed her ,because she is still with Guerlain which is also a cosmetics brand and aparently its not allowed to have two cosmetics contracts at the same time. Whatever…you can see her pretty face for Maybelline ads in magazines and even on TV. Too bad Maybelline photoshops everyone like crazy….even the prettiest faces. I think Julia looks better natural but yeah…see for yourself after the jump…

Ok…I am not a big fan of all this Adriana Lima hysteria but I know that a lot of people are interested in her so here are the latest news about her and Marko Jaric, which were just reported in Serbian magazine “Story”. So here are the facts:

Adriana invited Marko to her home and he was the first man who slept in her family’s house (dunno if I should believe that) , his mother likes Adriana a lot, Marko says he is happy because their families come from a similar background (whatever that means) And now the big and interesting news: They will marry in June 2009.

As I already told you a few days ago, my photographer and me were at the red carpet of ELLE Fashion Star awards last saturday, where we met Kim Catrall,Natasha Poly,Karl Lagerfeld,Claudia Schiffer and many more…the highlights of the show will be on TV tonight at 11.15 pm on German TV channel Pro7. They will show red carpet footage and parts of the show.  Karl Lagerfeld got the Platinum award for his life (oh yes, he deserves it), Designer Ralf Simons received the “Best collection” award for his Jil Sander summer collection and Roberto Rimondi und Tommaso Aquilano got the “Newcomer Award” for their label 6267. So yesterday I found the new H&M catalogue in my mail and I absolutely love it. I immediately noticed the good quality of their campaigns…I mean…this year alone they had Raquel Zimmerman, Daria Werbowy, Lily Donaldson, Julia Stegner, Jessica Stam, Doutzen Kroes and many more topmodels in their campaigns and the pictures look flawless all the time ( in contrast to Victoria’s Secret catalogues…most pics there don’t look that good). Thumbs up for their photographers, make up artists and creative directors who work on the shootings. I love the brown background and the poses of Daria and Lily…it’s clear that this is the fall/winter catalogue. The clothes btw…really nice. Warm colors and a wide variety of cuts and shapes. In my opinion H&M should have fashion shows too…but I don’t think that’ll ever happen^^  Check the fall campaign after the jump…
