After the June/July issue of Vogue Paris the August issue is out now…finally. The fall issues are always interesting because they feature the new collections. Aparently the big topic this time is “reality show” as it also says on the cover. Vinoodh and Matadin shot the cover with Daria Werbowy and several editorials. I like the cover, the red is a nice contrats to the black and green background and its glamourous but also provocative (oooh…you can see the underwear). So…looking at the editorials it took me some time to understand the reality show thing. There are pics that show the models on the street, which would connect to teh reality thing…and there are also pics of backstage at a fashion show. But then…there are also just simple classic studio shoots like the one with Sasha Pivovarova. So I guess Vogue Paris wanted to show those high fashion outfits in all kinds of situations…maybe…do you have a better idea? Anyways, most of the eds look great, eventhough the models seem to be the same for several years now…its always Daria,Sasha,Kate and Raquel…but hey, they simply know how to pose.
