Reprints are not a big deal in the world of fashion magazines. So I wasnt surprised to see that Natasha Poly’s Vogue Nippon September cover was chosen by the editors of Vogue Australia for their October issue. It is a very nice picture for a cover. No one can look so fierce like Natasha. But I just found it very interesting to see how much of a difference the writing makes. The fonts, the colors, it makes the cover look quite different although it is the same picture. In this case the huge difference of her skin and hair color is probably just because two different people used two different scanners, so lets ignore that. But Vogue Nippon loves to have the model’s faces behind the letters of the word Vogue, which I cannot understand because first: We all know its Vogue eventhough you cant read one letter and second : Its just ugly and destroys the look of the model. Thats why I prefer the version of Vogue Australia…you can see Natasha’s face without a “G”! Yaaay!

She always looks classy. always. Whether she is buying groceries, taking a walk with her children or attending film festivals as in those pics above. On the left you see Claudia arriving in Venice yesterday, looking so cute and fresh in her long summery dress. A few hours later after some make up and hairspray Claudia posed for photographers on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival. She looks gorgeous. The dress is perfect for her and as always she has the right accessories and a bright smile on her face. Yes….she is awesome….thats all I can say.

This is Miranda Kerr out and about yesterday. Looking good, I love LBDs (Little Black Dress) in every shape and fabric. And Ballerinas….well….with her height I would wear Ballerinas all day long too. And her dog Frankie is so cute….I love that she takes him everywhere and doesnt hire a nanny for him like some other celebrities. Aviator sunglasses….got some myself…they’re cool and fit every kind of outfit. But wait….what about her bags? Two different bags on one day? Hmmm…weird but i guess its ok….especially since both bags are fabulous. A 2.55 Chanel quilted bag on the left….and a Prada lace bag on the right. I definitely prefer Chanel though. Well…as 99% of Miranda’s outfits…nice choice girl!

Hmmm….which one is better? Which one is more classy? That’s right! Paris won! Although Carine Roitfeld seems to be on a ego trip lately ( editorials about her are inside ) , I love her cover choices. This is Anna Selezneva wearing a purple outfit, looking fabulous. And yes….did you notice the other difference? Less writing! Just one simple thing… “Special Mode”…nothing more needed! Well….sometimes less is more.

Sorry that I havent posted much this week but I have been sick for 3 days but here I am and have a loooot to talk about. So first the overload of Victoria’s Secret news…Doutzen Kroes is the new angel, yes we knew that for quite a long time but she made her first official angel steps this week on tuesday when she launched the new Supermodel Obsession line alongside Adriana Lima in NY. Well…besides that I think that this “new” line is nothing surprising or new … I have to say I just cant get used to the fact that Doutzen is an angel now…at the launch she looked like a Barbie doll and next to Adriana who is always very energetic she just seemed boring. And whyyyy did they both wear flip flops? Sorry but….if you launch a SUPERMODEL collection….I expect heels….hiiiiigh heels. Other than that it seemed like every VS launch….lots of make up…lots of hair extensions…lots of posing. Check pics after the jump. Oh and the second angel news would be… Alessandra Ambrosio gave birth to a lil girl on sunday!!! Congrats to her and her BF and welcome to the world Anja.

…in my dreams!!! Yeah I dont own any of those fabulous boots but I wish I would! Just surfed around on the net a lil bit today and ended up checking the “New arrivals” at netaporter.com …. sigh …. black studded leather Chloe boots and beige Margiela ankle boots that look as soft as a pillow…so perfect for fall!!! I can totally see myself strutting around through colorful leaves on the ground in these shoes….yeah…dreams are good, right?

So it’s August 23rd. Officially it’s still summer here in Berlin. But today was nothing like summer….dont get me wrong, it was a beautiful day! Probably one of the best of the whole year. Blue sky…sunshine…the air was very crisp and clean and it was a lot colder than yesterday. And somehow everything seemed more quiet…one of those days when you know summer is over. The trees are still green but it’s time for coats and cardigans when you wanna go outside. I love that time…dont know exactly why but it has something very comforting. I am sure a lot of you know what I’m talking about and for all the others who don’t…look at those pics and you know how beautiful a fall day can be…

KK!!! One of my favorite models is on the cover of German Vanity Fair alongside boxer Vladimir Klitschko. He invited her 3 times to a photo shoot but she never accepted until now. They shot this lovely editorial in NYs Central Park and seemed to be enjoying each other’s company a lot. You can tell from the pics that they like each other…I scanned them today…so here they are after the jump…enjoy!

September 2nd ( or 9.02 how the CW calls it ) will be the day when the Beverly Hills spin off “90210″ will premiere and since the original series has had quite an impact in the 90s , everybody is curious to see if 90210 will be as great and fashionable as its mother. So far there are only some short previews and some promo shoots available , but there are already a lot of people discussing the fashion of the series. In times of Sex and the City and Gossip Girls it is just very likely for TV shows to influence their viewers style. Will 90210 include another bunch of high class teenagers who cause lots of drama and wear expensive clothes paid by daddy’s credit card? I think so. But looking at the promo pics….well…there are really just a few pieces that look great…like the dresses in this one:

 But then you see this and it seems like a mess:

Well…I guess we just have to wait and see if that show will be a hit….in case it will, I doubt it’s because of the fashion. Check more 90210 pics after the jump…

Ladies and Gentleman….the new it bag of the season….The Gucci Hysteria Bag!!! Pretty big, pretty round…quite nice. I bet Gucci has been sending free bags to all the “It-Girls”, because all the Lindsays and Whitneys are wearing it. Thats what makes a bag an It-Bag right? Tons of paparazzi pics of celebrities wearing the bag….then girls and women see them again and again in the tabloids and wanna have the bag too. Then some bad copies are made and suddenly the whole world is carrying the same style of bag. I don’t like it that much….but Ive never been a Gucci girl and I don’t know why. Let’s see if next season’s It-Bag is more of my taste.
