…Adriana Lima!!!! So the biggest Fashion Show of the year is always the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The facts for this years show so far are: It will take place in Miami and the show will be aired on CBS. Now Adriana Lima gave away some more information during an interview for Miami.com. She said she will be wearing the fantasy bra this year, which is not really a surprise since it will be her 10th VSFS and she has never worn it before so….its about time. She did a lot of VS launches this year and will do another one alongside Doutzen Kroes in NY on August 26th. Other models in the VSFS will be Miranda Kerr, Karolina Kurkova, Heidi Klum, Marisa Miller, Izabel Goulart and hopefully Alessandra Ambrosio who will give birth to her daughter this months. I hope they create a more beautiful multi million dollar fantasy bra than last years…..here are all fantasy bras from 2002 to 2007:

Petra Nemcova is known for changing her style a lot and thats what makes her interesting, but this time I think she should have thought about it more. She changed her hair from blonde to brown -ok- thats not bad….BUT she also changed her haircut and…well…it looks a bit weird in my opinion. Her fringe does not suit the shape of her face and I think the super red lipstick doesnt help either….but her smile is amazing as always. Anyways…I put together some of Petras styles…which one do you prefer?

I know some people dont care what they are wearing when they sleep and others sleep naked. I am fine wearing some old Tee , but I also like to have at least one or two nice PJs…it definitely feels better waking up in a cute PJ than in some old worn out Tee. Especially when you have friends over or you know that somebody might knock at your door really early, wearing something that doesnt look as if its laundry day would make me feel better. The problem is….finding something cute, but comfortable. Here are some PJs from Nordstrom and Victoria’s Secret that look nice and comfortable…especially the cupcake PJ looks adorable to me…

Yes, I know I post about Miranda a lot, but this time I want you guys to focus on the dresses she is wearing! Yesterday the David Jones summer collection was presented in Sydney and I think its great!!! Of course Miranda looks lovely too but….the dresses!!! Very girly, fancy….just special. My favorite is the colorful sparkling one I posted above, but I would wear all of those outfits (except for the one feathery hat that she is wearing). Soooo…yesterday I went on a little shopping spree with my best friend. Disappointed that H&M still hasnt got the Cardigan I want in stores, I went to Zara and spent a good hour there. So many coats…so many blouses…so many shoes. I really love their fall collection and when I saw posters of Sasha Pivovarova wearing this collection on their walls, I wanted to have those clothes even more (Yes, I am easy to impress). I tried on lots of coats, cardigans, shoes (some fabulous Gladiators but 80 Euros was a bit too much) and ended up buying this:

The shoes were the last ones left AND they were my size….lucky me. And the blouse is 100% silk…I wanted to buy it for a long time now…so I did and hope I wont ruin it ( I am not familiar with silk ). Would love to buy more from Zara but they are a bit expensive…guess I will have to wait for winter sale.

Something that really makes me happy? A great fashion magazine cover. And ELLE UK definitely made me happy today. For their September issue they chose Mary Kate Olsen to be on the cover, who is one of the very few celebrities that I like. She is known as the more crazy-fashionable twin, her style is very Bohemian and extravagant and so it’s no surprise that ELLE put her on two covers this year. They even call her a “modern icon”…dunno about that but she is definitely influencing a lot of girls who look up to her. The cover which will be in stores is not even released yet but the subscribers cover is the one I posted above. Three MKs…and a huge Miu Miu coat….love it!

Our favorite Aussie model Miranda Kerr is a workaholic. She was on tons of covers , did many TV show appearances, radio interviews and campaigns in July. At the moment she is in Australia doing a lot of promotion for David Jones and today I found yet another cool interview with her for Aussie Magazine Grazia. They had the crazy idea to give Miranda a rack of beautiful outfits and do a photo shoot with 10 outfits that she picked - in only 10 minutes. She agreed, which shows how fun and down to earth she is imo and the result is this… (click on the pics to enlarge them)

Without question….the sheer blue Morrissey dress. I love everything navy blue. If only I had all those dresses…

Its August which means that the stores already sell the fall collections (impossible to get nice summer clothes in August) and so far my favorite of the “affordable” collections are the ones of  Zara and H&M. I was looking through the H&M collection online today and noticed that they seem to have a crush on cardigans. They have over 20 different styles…long, short,medium….whatever style you like…you can get it there. They start at 15 Euros and go up to 40 Euros. As for me…I really wanna have a long cardigan for this fall, one that looks kinda like “The Row” ( The Olsen’s label) and I found this one which I really like:

But they only have it online and in the catalogue so far :(  If anyone of you has seen it in a store already please tell me. Anyways…there are waaay more styles to choose from…check some of them after the jump…

I was born in Berlin. And yes I am proud to be a Berliner even though I think there are more beautiful cities. So this year there is really a lot of talking about how hip and cool Berlin is. Ive seen newspaper articles about it, blogs about it, celebrities talking about it and I am happy that Berlin has this “status” in the world at the moment. Today I bought the British GQ magazine and there is yet another article about Berlin, its called “Why we all want to be ein Berliner”. Let me quote some lines… “…and today Berlin is home to a cosmopolitan influx of entrepreneurs, creatives, new media nodes, flaneurs, fashionistas, hedonists and musicians…” ; ” Berliners are conceivably the coolest people on the planet today”. They also say that Berlin has been “pimped”, which made me laugh because I immediately had to think of X Zibit with a new show “Pimp my city”. I am glad about so many compliments for my hometown and a bit surprised to read a 5 page article about it in GQ mag. I am sure Berlin will become even more popular and hopefully someday be as fashionable as London or NY. It definitely has potential especially with the Berlin Fashion Week being that successful. To all my readers from Berlin…we live in one cool city ;)  Berlin…du bist so wunderbar Berlin…

I told you guys!!! Toni Garrn is the next big thing when it comes to German models…now that her exclusive Calvin Klein contract is over, Peek & Cloppenburg is her next step. Toni is the star of their f/w campaign next to The Body Elle MacPherson….quite interesting to have a young fresh babyface model next to a professional experienced model in one campaign.The pictures were shot in Vanice and can soon be seen in all fashion mags and of course in P&C stores.
