I expected Toni Garrn to do some shows in NY and Milan, but this is just unbelievable. Toni Garrn did 27 (!!!) Shows in less than 3 weeks. And I’m not talking about unknown designers, I’m talking about designers like Anna Sui, Michael Kors, Prada, Gucci, Versace and Fendi. She even opened and closed the Fendi show which means that Karl Lagerfeld loves her. No wonder tough because she really resembles Claudia Schiffer. The designers seem to want her which will probably end in many SS 09 campaigns for her. So get ready to see Toni’s face a lot while reading magazines in the near future. I think this is wonderful. There she is, a 17 year old German girl who still goes to school, she gets thrown into the world of modeling, does 27 shows in NY and Milan and ends up seeing her face on billboards. Sounds like a fairy tale without drama. I saw her at the Basso and Brooke Fashion Show during Berlin Fashion Week in July and nobody seemed to care about her. Now she is a topmodel. Good for her.
