Yaaaay! She did it again! After being on the February cover of ELLE UK mag Karolina is on the November cover as well. Some of you might say that it’s unfair or boring, but I love the fact that KK seems to go back to her high fashion roots next to her Victoria’s Secret career. What you can see is the subscriber’s cover, which means that the magazine in stores will look slightly different. Thats a very tricky way of ELLE UK to win subscribers btw ;) KK looks fierce on this pic and I hope her editorial inside will be as great too. This is her February subscriber’s cover:

Today is a great day. It’s Chanel day. My favorite designers of all time are Coco Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld and so I always get very excited when there is a new Chanel Fashion Show. I have to admit that the last two or three collections disappointed me a little, that’s why I was extremely happy to find out that the new collection is exactly what I was hoping for. First of all, the setting was beautiful. Karl recreated the “Maison Chanel” in “la rue Cambon” - the famous house and store of Coco Chanel. It looked spectacular but also very romantic and French. The outfits are just to die for, beautiful tweet dresses and jackets combined with the new Chanel stockings, light chiffon blouses with ruffles and bows and amazing new Chanel bags that look like carrier bags. My two favorite models Natasha Poly and Toni Garrn were there and looked very elegant but cool while walking down the runway to the song “Our House”. For the finale 5 good looking male models showed off some Chanel suits…I simply loved it…I’m a Chanel girl….definitely.

The Sonia Rykiel Fashion Show was everything but ordinary. When I checked the pics this morning I was speechless because the number of outfits must have been around 100, the runway was full of roses, the models looked a little drunk and as if they were dancing at some club so I thought “What was going on there???”. Then finally the first reviews came in and everything started to make sense. It was Sonia Rykiel’s 40th anniversary and so of course the fashion show had to be extraordinary. I love that most of the outfits look extremely crazy, but still not tacky. There are sooo many pieces I love, for example the sparkly French hats that the models wore in the beginning, I gotta have one like that!!! And feathers….I love feathers. In the “first finale” of the show, the biggest models like Lily Donaldson, Natasha Poly or Raquel Zimmerman walked down the runway with feathery dresses and hairpieces, looking like French can can dancers. Then during the “second finale” roses were thrown on the runway and the models danced down the runway in Sonia Rykiel inspired clothes, designed by her fellow designers like Martin Margiela or Jean Paul Gaultier. Everybody seemed to have a lot of fun and I think it’s so refreshing to see models smile and dance on the runway. Thank you Sonia Rykiel for 40 years of inspiration.

…Natasha Poly. Seriously. After seeing those Gucci backstage pictures of her, especially the close ups, I think she is pretty much perfect. Yes, I am biased, because I have always been a fan of her and after I met her during Berlin Fashion Week I love her even more, but she really is the most important and wanted model in the fashion industry atm. She opened and closed so many shows during her modeling carrer and seems to get better and better each season. She was born in Russia, is 23 years old, 1,78 m tall and has the most amazing cheekbones ever. She grazed tons of Vogue covers and has a very distinguished walk on the runway, one of the best imo next to Gisele’s. Oh and, her personal style is amazing as well. Natasha seems to love what she is doing since I hardly ever saw her in a bad mood or giving a bitchy interview. To sum it up - she is the perfect model.
