I’m back from 3 weeks of pure awesomeness and I apologize for blogging little during that time, but I was busy tanning at Bondi Beach No seriously, it was an incredible time, packed with many new experiences. Fashion wise I can say that Aussie guys dress better than Aussie girls ( there are always exceptions of course ), that most clothes are less expensive than in Berlin and that the Surfer Style dominates Sydney. A store called “Surf Dive and Ski” was my favorite and I bought heaps of Billabong and Roxy stuff, which I cant wear here in cold Berlin but therefor I can strut around in my comfy Ugg Boots. I never thought I would like Ugg Boots but when I tried them on and felt like walking on a fluffy carpet I knew I had to have them ( Thanx again Schatzi :* ). Other than that… Flip Flops or “Thongs” how the Aussies call them are a must have in Sydney. I bought 3 pairs of Havaianas…too much? I dont think so! Something that really surprised me was that I didnt see much of Aussie model Miranda Kerr. I expected tons of ads and TV appearances, but no, kinda disappointing. Oh and I bought Ray Ban sunglasses… no, not fake ones, I thought I should invest my money in some good sunnies instead of buying tons of cheap ones every year because they break so easily. I also bought tons of Tees ( u can never have enough casual Tees ) and heaps of Victoria’s Secret cosmetics at the London airport while I was waiting for my next flight. Yes…thats a probably incomplete summary of my shopping sprees in wonderful Sydney.
