One of the segments in each VSFS since 2006 is the PINK segment. The models are usually the less known, younger models and they present college style fashion from the PINK line by Victoria’s Secret. It’s always the most colorful, playful segment and although a lot of people hate it - I love it. It’s just refreshing to see new faces instead of the angels who get 3 or more outfits per show. In this year’s PINK segment there were some of my fav models, like Flavia De Oliveira and Candice Swanepoel. I also loved some of the pieces they wore, like the huge hat on Flavia or the boxers and of course the wonderful red wings on Candice. I also felt that some of the outfits had a touch of Abercrombie&Fitch to them…like the oversized scarf which basically screamed A&F. But yeah…its always fun to watch the PINK segment on TV, no matter how tacky it might be and I cant wait for this years line up of fresh new PINK models. Check pics of the whole segment here…

I cant believe its over already…so much planning and organizing, so many rumors and speculations every year and all for a one hour long fashion show. Alright…I have a lot to say so this is probably going to be my longest post ever. I have seen all outfits now and lots of backstage pics and some short videos so I am able to have an opinion on the show now. Here we go…

The cast of this year’s show was nice. They had more models than ever before and a lot of new faces and I liked most of them. The stage/runway looked really impressive, definitely better than last year and I have to see the video to really judge it, but I liked the chandeliers and roses. The makeup and hair looked amazing on most of the models, like Doutzen Kroes and Inguna Butane….I loved Inguna with the straight long hair and I think she closed the show (yaaay). Sadly, they really messed up Adriana Lima’s makeup and hair. Too much bronzer, lips too bright, hair too dark and messy and I feel really really sorry for that because Adriana is in a damn good shape this year and she opened the show and wore the fantasy bra so she should have looked amazing, but the makeup artists screwed it. Now…the outfits. THANK you VS for improving so much since last year. Seriously, last year’s outfits were a disaster (can u say tacky?). This year’s outfits look very classy (well…most of them) and not too over the top. My favorites are Miranda and her butterfly wings (cuuuute!!!), Adriana and the fur coat, Doutzen with the huge red skirt, all of Angela’s outfits, Flavia’s cool hat in the PINK section and Alessandra’s golden wings. The wings were definitely more beautiful this year, Adriana’s white/black wings look divine and even Heidi’s red sparkly bow looks quite impressive. Things that surprised me… Carmen Kaas!!! Didnt think she would show up, how good Maryna fit in, how sexy Candice looked and how not too tacky the PINK section seemed.

All in all I am happy with the show this year, but I can only be sure on Dec. 3rd when CBS will show the entire show on TV…I cant wait! So…here is what you all have been waiting for…tons of pictures of the show, enjoy!!!

So here are the first backstage pictures of the VSFS 08. We finally see the whole cast, Isabeli Fontana and Inguna Butane are there too, which makes me very happy. The make up looks quite nice, not as trashy as last years, but we will have to wait for the taping to see what it really looks like. They definitely tried to make it glamorous, fake long lashes and bright eyeshadow and it looks as if they did a better job with the bronzer this year. Here are some more pics…

It’s hard to keep track with all the events that are taking place this weekend. In fact, at this very moment the first taping of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is taking place at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami and we will be getting pics of it in a few hours. Until then…lets talk about yesterdays events. So, after the yacht thing the models had a photoshoot at the beach. 30 VS models in tiny white bikinis - every man’s dream I guess. Sadly KK really seems to be in bad shape this year, at least compared to the others. After the beach shoot there was a short appearance at the hotel before they got dressed up and attended the opening ceremony of the hotel at night. Heidi got to cut the ribbon while the other angels posed and smiled so nothing really changed, Heidi is still the centre of attention. The first backstage pictures are coming in as we speak so stay tuned and check these pictures…

Day two of the VS mania: The Victoria’s Secret models make an appearance on a huge yacht in Miami. This is kinda interesting because this time its not only the angels but also about 20 more models who will be part of the show on saturday. A few names…Flavia De Oliveira, Lindsay Ellingson, Izabel Goulart ( who by the way is no angel any longer because of her Armani Exchange contract ), Julia Stegner and many others. I’m not a big fan of the yacht idea - too lifestyle of the rich and famous for me, but I like the sailor hats^^ There will be more events today like a photoshoot at the beach and a party at the Fontainbleau Hotel at night so stay tuned and check out these pics…

Yes, girls and boys, it’s that time of the year again. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show will be taped this saturday in Miami and today the promo events started. This morning the angels made an appearance in one of Miami’s VS stores to talk about their favorite VS items - like every year. Only difference this year is, there seem to be 9 angels: Alessandra Ambrosio, Marisa Miller, Selita Ebanks, Karolina Kurkova, Doutzen Kroes, Heidi Klum, Behati Prinsloo, Miranda Kerr and Adriana Lima. Behati is probably “only” the PINK angel…something like the spokesperson for the PINK line but still….she is part of the team as it seems. What else can I say…well…Miranda is definitely my favorite model this year but her make up is just so wrong in this picture….too bad.She just looks gorgeous naturally. Selitas new hair do is quite nice, Doutzen looks like a doll as always, Heidi looks the same for 5 years now, Adriana’s hair extensions are too long for my taste, the others bore me. Oh well…I cant deny that I love this VS mania every year. Stay tuned for more pictures tomorrow!

I guess I have many fashion-cravings, but some are always stronger than others. My fashion craving of the moment is this pretty cocktail dress by MANGO. It is part of the Limited Edition line and I have seen it in store a few days ago. If I remember right, the price was 120 Euros. The weird thing is that on their website it says 69,90 Euros. I am pretty sure that this is a mistake, since this would be extremely cheap for a dress like this. The feathery part just looks amazing while walking or dancing, thats why I love fringes or feathers or pearls on clothes. It just gives the outfit a certain dynamic that makes it special. My other craving of the moment is chocolate btw…

What a beautiful cover. I was disappointed by VOGUE Germany’s November cover but this makes up for every bad cover they ever had. Julia Stegner looks so elegant and stunning on this christmas cover, it actually reminds me a lot of a Ralph Lauren ad which is a good thing. This will definitely be in my top 10 of favorite VOGUE covers. I cant wait to get my hands on it and see the whole editorial!

Very furry I must say but I love him!!! Yes, him….I think my new Zara vest looks male^^ Anyways…so I bought this pretty thing two days ago while checking out the new Zara collection. Zara keeps getting better. I mean, yes basically they just copy the designer’s stuff and that’s not very nice but how are we supposed to spend 2000 Euros for a pair of Burberry shoes if we can get very similar looking Zara shoes for 100 Euros? I know I cant afford Burberry shoes, nor can I afford Viktor&Rolf coats but Zara sells some very very similar looking coats atm and girls, if you are looking for some boots, check Zara. I have seen at least 10 different boots, brown,grey,black and they also have overknees, which look very cool but are 200 Euros. Anyways…just go and see for yourself :)
