Yes, she did it again! Toni Garrn is on the cover of VOGUE Italia November!!! Toniiiiiiii, congratulations! This is quite amazing, her second VOGUE cover in one year. Man, this girl has a dream career and she just started! If she keeps going like that she will be among the best next year and might even be the next Claudia Schiffer ( though no one can replace Claudia ). I wonder how she does all those fashion shows and shootings and still has enough time to finish school. That deserves some respect….on the other hand…she must get paid a lot by now…money makes everything easier doesnt it?! ;)

Today I received the new H&M catalogue with the “It’s your Party” campaign and I really like it. After Daria Werbowy on the last cover, they went back to Erin Wasson for the new one. In my opinion Erin is perfect for H&M. This must be her 5th campaign and she just keeps looking better each time. The clothes are all about dressing up since we are in the party and prom season now. The funny thing is, I already have two of the dresses in this campaign and I bought them about 5 weeks ago. Is it normal that the clothes are in stores before the campaign is out? Anyways…its nice to see them on Erin and I have to say that I am impressed by the quality of the dresses. They definitely look more expensive than they are, even after washing them, so if you are still looking for a prom or party dress, dont be afraid to buy one at H&M but of course dont do it if you wanna be unique - I’m sure several girls will wear H&M dresses at the next party ;)

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2008 is in its last stage of preparation as we can see on these pictures of the fittings. We can see Heidi, Marisa and Miranda in some more or less spectacular outfits. My thoughts so far are…poor Heidi, she seems to have some very ugly outfits this year. I really hate this Gladiator inspired ensemble she is wearing, but maybe it’s just the combination of the outfit and her weird make up. I guess she just returned from a shooting and didnt have time to take it off. Marisa’s black lingerie looks really sexy and classy and I also like the feathers. Miranda is such a cutie as always and I love the butterfly idea, but the panties look very unsexy imo. Oh well…hope there are more “simple” outfits like the black one, but I am definitely pumped for the Fashion Show!

I’m back from 3 weeks of pure awesomeness and I apologize for blogging little during that time, but I was busy tanning at Bondi Beach ;) No seriously, it was an incredible time, packed with many new experiences. Fashion wise I can say that Aussie guys dress better than Aussie girls ( there are always exceptions of course ), that most clothes are less expensive than in Berlin and that the Surfer Style dominates Sydney. A store called “Surf Dive and Ski” was my favorite and I bought heaps of Billabong and Roxy stuff, which I cant wear here in cold Berlin but therefor I can strut around in my comfy Ugg Boots. I never thought I would like Ugg Boots but when I tried them on and felt like walking on a fluffy carpet I knew I had to have them ( Thanx again Schatzi :* ). Other than that… Flip Flops or “Thongs” how the Aussies call them are a must have in Sydney. I bought 3 pairs of Havaianas…too much? I dont think so! Something that really surprised me was that I didnt see much of Aussie model Miranda Kerr. I expected tons of ads and TV appearances, but no, kinda disappointing. Oh and I bought Ray Ban sunglasses… no, not fake ones, I thought I should invest my money in some good sunnies instead of buying tons of cheap ones every year because they break so easily. I also bought tons of Tees ( u can never have enough casual Tees ) and heaps of Victoria’s Secret cosmetics at the London airport while I was waiting for my next flight. Yes…thats a probably incomplete summary of my shopping sprees in wonderful Sydney.
