I stumbled across this old picture of Gisele Bundchen, I think it’s from 2001 at some VS signing and it made me realize for how many years Gisele has been modeling now and how much I miss the “old” Gisele. I know she is still doing a lot of editorials and campaigns, but I miss the time when she was a big name in the runway scene and kind of shy looking on pictures and in interviews. Everybody was so amazed by her and it was clear that she would change the modeling world. Now she is a supermodel, everybody knows her name. She is still gorgeous, but I dont know, she just had something more mysterious about her a few years ago. I collected some of my favorite pics of her as you can see here. I LOVED her look when she won the VH1/VOGUE model of the year award…sigh…remember the VH1 VOGUE Fashion Awards? They were awesome….thats where supermodels were made. Hmm….somehow the fashion world changes too fast…so reminisce with me while looking at my fav “old” Gisele pics.
