I was so happy to hear Julia Stegner will be in Berlin for the Berlin Fashion Week, but now I found out that there will be tons of international topmodels this time! So many girls I look forward to meeting, here is my wanna-meet-you-so-bad-list:

1. Julia Stegner….always wanted….she is the second Claudia Schiffer for me.

2. Behati Prinsloo….would have never thought she will come to Berlin…but she will! She seems so much fun.

3. Toni Garrn….she is THE model of the season and will be huge soon, gotta meet her.

4. Erin Heatherton….loved her at the VSFS08 and think she is very pretty.

5. Anja Rubik….legend….love her.

I loved this beautiful Versace dress from the first second I saw it, it was my favorite of the whole collection so I’m not surprised that it’s part of the current Versace campaign with Gisele Bundchen and Kate Moss and it was used in the Lara Stone editorial “Lara by night”. I am a bit confused why it looks so green/blue on the campaign pic with Gisele, maybe it’s just the reflexion of the water or it’s really the dress in a different color. I would love to have it in every color…purple, dark green, black, pink….yeah that would be heavenly. Watch out people… I have the feeling you might see the dress in a lot more editorials this season!

Scherer Gonzales is another German label that will present its new collection during Berlin Fashion Week. I would say that Scherer Gonzales is the most “red carpet” like label in Germany. They make beautiful gowns, use very elegant fabrics and even international celebrities like Eva Longoria wear their dresses. I think it’s awesome that we have an innovative and internationally succesful label like that here in Germany and I’m very curious about their next fashion show.

I think I have a new favorite model…at least she’s in my top 5 now. After seeing the Bohemian Rhapsody editorial that I posted earlier this week and seeing this awesome editorial for W mag, I am impressed by Edita Vilkiviciute. She is extremely pretty and has an amazing bone structure, which makes every picture look fabulous. Even her candids look pretty!!! I will definitely pay more attention to her in the upcoming Fashion Weeks. Here’s the rest of the W ed…

The designer Marcel Ostertag will present his new collection during Berlin Fashion Week. I cant wait to attend his fashion show, because I really love his clothes. I like to call him the German Burberry since I think that some of his pieces look very Burberry inspired, but in a good way! I love to see this British coolness with German attitude. Here’s what the BFW site says about him:

“The designer invests a lot of time in small details and in research. Marcel Ostertag and his team gather inspiration in big cities, at fabric fairs, at vintage markets, in libraries, in nature and within the family. All these different influences bring Marcel Ostertag´s collection to life and give it the exact something that makes catwalks, image galleries and boutiques shine.”

I dont know if you ever experienced this or if I’m just a freak, but there are some pictures/editorials that just make me go aaaawww when I see them. They’re either really beautiful or different or creative, whatever it is, they have that special something that makes me wanna see more. This happened to me this morning while I was reading Vogue. I saw this Editorial called “Bohemian Rhapsody” with model Edita Vilkeviciute and I was very impressed. I cant really tell you what I especially like about it, but Edita is wearing some of my favorite pieces from the s/s collections and the pictures just look fabulous. I hope you enjoy my scans as much as I enjoyed them…

I saw so many things in the new Vogue today that I wanna have….shoes…jewellery….beauuuutiful clothes….but one thing really caught my eye. This wonderful, white D&G bag seems so perfect for summer! And because it has zippers outside it can be folded into a small bag…so handy!!! I love it…I will dream of it tonight.

Finally!!!! The new Vogue Germany Issue is out and I like the cover but it looks soooo familiar!!!! And I cant think of what it reminds me of…I have definitely seen a very similar cover in the past. Hmm…I really dont know, but I wanna say that the phrases “Best of Fashion” and “Die neue Mode” are used waaaay too much. Will buy it tomorrow and escape into the world of Vogue while sipping coffee… :)
