First of all… sorry for not posting a lot this week. I am basically working everyday and so it’s kinda hard for me to find time BUT I thought I should tell you all about something new and cool in Berlin F***ing City. Today I walked along Leipziger Strasse and saw a small brown building, which I had never noticed before. It turned out to be a new Hawaiian Coffee Drive In Shop called Cahoona. Aparently they opened their first branch one week ago and they import their coffee from Hawaii. I loved it! I ordered a Cahoona Special Frap-a-hoona (Frappucino Hawaiian Style) and it was pretty tasty. They also serve yummy Bagels and of course lots of different coffees. So if you’re in Berlin and want to feel as if you’re in Hawaii for a few minutes, check it out! Here’s some more info about Cahoona…

“Germany’s first drive-in coffee shop will open its doors at the end of March, close to Berlin’s Alexanderplatz.

Cahoona Coffee is currently being constructed at the Leipziger Str., close to ministry of finance.

The idea came to Günter Wakulat after seeing 42,000 cars pass along that stretch of road very slowly during rush hour each day. He wants hopes his service will enable him to deliver fresh coffee after 60 only seconds in the new drive in.”
