picture 1 Claudia Schiffer for D&G La Lune fragrance

Now THATS why I love this girl!!!!! To me Claudia Schiffer is and will always be one of the best models in the world and her new D&G ad proves it! The commercial spot screams “90s” with George Michael’s “Freedom” playing in the background while supermodel Claudia gets ready for the photo shoot. It’s a great spot, it makes me wanna go to the next D&G store and smell the new fragrance. Actually, that’s what I will do tomorrow…

Opening Ceremony Japan Opening Reception Party
The Olsen twins did it. They wore the Maison Michel Bunny Ears to a flagship store opening in Tokyo. I am very openminded when it comes to weird styles but this is too weird…. I don’t like it. What do you think? Bunny Ears - yay or nay?

So this is Kate Moss’ new Topshop campaign. I like it a lot better than the summer campaign, though it is still rather boring, but at least Kate’s poses are quite nice. I really don’t understand why there is no Topshop in Germany, I would love to shop there but on the other hand I spend enough money at Zara already so maybe it’s better to keep Topshop away from me…

My new Zara studded heels

sl270002 My new Zara studded heels

Oh shoes, why are you so addictive? I bought these wonderful studded heels at Zara yesterday. They were quite pricey ( 80 Euros ), but I am quite sure that they’re made of real leather which would justify the price a bit more. And I am very happy with the height of the heel, I think they’re about 10 cm high which means I can walk in them for more than just 5 minutes. Zara has soooo many great shoes at the moment, heels, boots, sandals, you name it, but these studded heels were aparently a special edition, at least thats what it said on the tag so I thought it might be good to buy these because I wont see many other girls wearing them (hopefully). I also couldn’t say no to that beautiful scarf that is obviously Louis Vuitton inspired. I LOVE scarfs! I must have around 20. Too many? Maybe…maybe not ; ) Here are some pics of my new babies…

jalouse2 Jalouse Dream Wedding

Yes, I know this editorial is old. It was published in the July issue of Jalouse magazine and for some reason I totally forgot to post it here, but I absolutely love it. Some people say it’s cheesy but I think it’s wonderful. I got that magazine during Berlin Fashion Week which is a very stressful time but when I looked at this wedding editorial I couldnt take my eyes off it, because the mood of these pictures is so happy and full of love - ok, maybe it is cheesy after all, but in a good way!!! It reminds me of the 70s, the hippie time when everything was about love and peace. Mark Ronson and his girlfriend Josephine de la Baume look like a great couple and as if they had a lot of fun during the shoot. Just have a look…

cravings My current cravings and obsessions

It’s one of those lazy sundays. Had cake and coffee with my family and thought I should be a bit creative today and make a collage of my current cravings and obsessions. This is what I crave for / am obsessed with at the moment:

1. Natasha Poly’s editorial “BB” in Vogue Paris Sept. issue. It just shows how perfect she is and how amazing she can make an editorial look.

2. The Balmain Buckle Boots. They’re so damn hot, that’s all I have to say. I want them!

3. Layering clothes like they did at the DSquared Show - oh, and of course Starbucks coffee, cant get enough.

4. Louis Vuitton bags, especially the ones from the fall/winter 09/10 collection.

5. This amazing black pencil skirt from Zara. A must-buy this fall!

6. Model backstage/ off duty pics, I love to be inspired by their style.

7. Miranda Kerr.

8. Abbey Lee in the new Gucci campaign.

9. Lily Donaldson in the new JOOP campaign. Her poses and expressions are the best!

10. Making collages : )

What are your current cravings/obsessions?

magda Proud To Shop

I have a new favorite editorial! It’s called “Proud to Shop”, it’s shot by Terry Richardson, the model is Magdalena Frackowiak, it’s in the new US Harper’s Bazaar and it’s amazing! I love fun and ironic editorials so this is exactly my kinda thing. Magdalena looks like a super rich shopaholic, walking around NYC with tons of shopping bags wearing really nice outfits. I think it’s funny that they didnt only use high fashion brands but also show shopping bags from GAP and H&M. This editorial definitely makes me wanna go shopping! Here are all the pics…

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 during NY Fashion Week

I am a bit confused by the fact that the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 will not be filmed in November as usually, but in September during New York Fashion Week. I guess they want to get rid of that christmas vibe that they always have in the fashion shows. the reason why I think so besides the new date of the show, is this new picture of the shooting of the holiday commercial. It doesnt really look like a christmas commercial to me, it looks more like a desert or something. I personally think that this is a good thing, because that way Victoria’s Secret has way more possibilities to create a fashion show that is not tacky. I still wonder when it will be aired on TV though…

Taylor Momsen’s Gossip Girl Style

Ed Westwick and Taylor Momsen show their red-carpet looks on the set of Gossip Girl in NYC

Gossip Girl is all about drama, bitchy girls and fashion. One of the actresses caught my attention lately because her style seems too mature for her age. She is 16 years old and her name is Taylor Momsen. I saw those pictures of the last few days on the set of Gossip Girl and I quite liked her style, but I disliked the fact that they style a 16 year old like that. Short dresses - ok, but red lipstick, smokey eyes and platinum blonde long hair??? I don’t think it is right, but since this is a fashion blog, let’s concentrate on her outfits and disregard her age for a minute. I love her Ray Ban Aviators and all of her purses, bags and accessories. My absolute favorite outfit is the green/black sequin Pucci dress that you can see above. Taylor looks great in it, but definitely not like 16….take a look at some of her other outfits:
