After speculations whether this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be cancelled or not, it is now confirmed that the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will take place in New York City. VS Angel Marisa Miller mentioned it during an interview while she celebrated 10 years of “Body by Victoria”, a bra collection with fellow VS models Alessandra Ambrosio, Emanuela De Paula and - very surprising - Lindsay Ellingson. So I guess the madness of speculation can continue now. Questions like “who will open the show?”, “which models will be part of it?”, “what will pregnant Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum do?” and most of all “who will wear the multi million dollar fantasy bra?” are already asked by curious VS fans. My guess: Either Ale or Miranda or Doutzen will wear the fantasy bra. We’ll know better in a few weeks…

I found my favorite piece of clothing from Copenhagen Fashion Week: The sequin vests from Rützou! Although this sequin trend has been popuar for quit a while now, I am still not over it and appreciate everything glittery on the runways! Those vests can turn a very simple outfit into a party outfit and I especially love the blue one, such an eye-catcher! I think I’ve seen similar ones at the H&M fall/winter collection previews though, so you know what I’m gonna buy soon ; )

Oh I just LOVE the David Jones Fashion Shows. For some reason I always like every single outfit that Miranda Kerr wears and I like the fact that they give her a lot of outfits instead of just one or two. This time it was about 7 outfits I think and Miranda, looking lovely as always, showed off a new haircolor, blonde! She said she dyed it blonde because she had to dye her eyebrows for a photoshoot for “V” magazine and wanted her hair to match. I think she looks great with blonde hair and I’m really impressed by her professional attitude. She is on a plane basically everyday and even got sick last week - still - she doesnt complain but keeps on smiling. Here are her best David Jones outfits….

That’s what I would say if I was in Australia on wednesday because that is the day when the September issue of Vogue Australia will hit the stores. And this year, it is very special because this issue celebrates 50 years of Vogue and has four different covers. All covers show Cate Blanchett and look very classy because illustrator David Downton drew the covers, yes, there was no photoshoot, but a Kate Winslet-Leonardo Dicaprio situation (anyone remember that scene in Titanic?). Although I would have preferred to see a cover with all of my favorite Aussie models who would be Abbey Lee, Catherine McNeil, Nicole Trunfio, Myf Sheperd, Jessica Hart and Miranda Kerr (wow, so many) I actually really like the four covers with Cate. I think this issue is a must have for every fashionista and Vogue lover and I would love to have all four covers. Yes, I would actually buy all of them if I was in Australia but until the September issue will arrive in stores in Germany it will be christmas….hmm…now thats gonna be my first christmas wish then!
