Aaaaaaah, I’ve found the perfect christmas gift for me today!!! This book is all I need for my very long flight to Sydney on Dec. 27 !!! Yeah I will fly to Australia again at the end of the year and will have the best New Years Eve ever in Sydney, but I wondered what I could do on the 24 hours long flight and this is the answer: Fashion Illustrator Nina Chakrabarti’s book “My Wonderful World of Fashion”. It’s an “interactive colouring book for fashionistas of all ages”. So I can read and draw and learn about fashion at the same time! This will keep me busy for some hours, I will definitely put it on my Dear Santa list.
Yes I did it. I woke up at 8 am on a saturday morning to go to the Jimmy Choo for H&M launch at Kudamm in Berlin. It was ridiculous. About 300 people were there 40 minutes before they openend, including TV Teams, radio and other journalists. Since I didnt get one of the 160 bracelets that you needed to go inside, I came back later around 12 and saw how crazy and ridiculous women can be. They were waiting in line like in front of a club, waiting for the “bouncers” to let them in the Jimmy Choo area, then they grabbed everything they could and probably sold half of it on ebay. Fortunately I didnt like anything of this collection so I wasnt disappointed that I didnt get to buy anything. Aparently two women were punching each other at 7 am cos they both wanted to be first….crazy….here are some of the pics I took:
Sigh….what a long day… I’m super tired, had quite an exhausting day, but those two pictures made me smile, because they’re so beautiful. They’re part of an editorial from the december issue of UK Harper’s Bazzar. I just love the model Michaela Hlavackova and I love the outfits even more. What amazing dresses….sigh….oh I wanna have them so bad….I hope I dream of them tonight.
Yaaayyy I received a copy of Vogue Germany December 2009 today and it’s a good one! On the cover you can see Luca Gadjus and Karolin Wolter, very christmasy with a Gold Font. But the highlight for me is the editorial “Minni im Wunderland” showing Chanel Iman in a desert with elefants wearing super cute outfits and Minnie Mouse ears. I LOVE Minnie Mouse, in fact I wore the same ears when I was in Disneyland. I like editorials with crazy contrasts like this….no one would expect Minnie Mouse in a desert, but it works! Here are some of my scans:
I got a question. I know there is the out-of-bed-look and stuff and I know some people dont like to style their hair, but what is someone like Mary-Kate Olsen or Erin Wasson thinking when they wear a 10000 dollar dress, ready to go to a red carpet event, they look in the mirror and see this mess on their heads?! I mean really, Erin Wasson is a beautiful woman and she looks gorgeous in the dress, but looking at her hair I just dont get if it’s supposed to be like that or if something went completely wrong. It’s not just messy and “undone”, there is this weird curly thing on the left and I think I see some pins, so weird! I don’t like it and I think she would have looked amazing with straight sleek hair. Too bad if people don’t use their potential.
Congratulations Vogue UK, you made me wanna buy your December issue just because of the wonderful cover. It’s Lara Stone wearing Haute Couture in a very old fashioned Dior setting and pose, I love it! The editorials inside arent bad either, more couture and flowy long dresses, it’s what a girl’s dreams are made of…

More and more news are coming in regarding the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009, today Heidi Klum said on a German TV Show that she wont walk at this year’s VSFS, but she will host the show. I hope it wont be all about her, we’ll see. On another note…
Adriana, after you have your baby, can you please go back to looking as fabulous as this^? I loved her look in 2004 and I always wanted to have that pink shiny super crazy jacket.
