Missing Carrie

Today I realized that there’s someone who is quite responsible for my passion for fashion, at least she was there every week when I was starting to find my own style. Carrie Bradshaw. Ever since Sex and the city finished there was no TV show that I liked as much. I miss it and I’m happy that reruns will start tonight. I still can’t believe some of the outfits Carrie wore and how amazing she looked even though everyone else would have looked like a clown in it. The pearl necklaces, the ruffled skirts, the wild hair, the high heels, the many colors and combinations, all that was Carrie and it is incredible how some of her outfits she wore 7 or 8 years ago would still be up to date today. To me she was and is an inspiration.
On the other hand the first official poster for the SATC 2 movie looks like this, quite disappointing if you ask me…

Carrie Bradshaw… I actually have discovered Sex & the city quite late, nearly 2 years ago (I’m 17 and I was pretty young when the TV show started). Besides it was on TV kinda late. But I saw a dozen episodes and the saw the first movie, that I LOVED! Fashion, NY, everything to make me like it. So I bought the seasons on dvd and I’m now trying to make up for lost time ;)

Anyways, I don’t really like the 1st poster from SATC 2, however the preview made me want to be May 28, right now !!
