Chloe Sevigny has always been a celebrity I liked. And eventhough I know a lot of people who say she isn’t pretty, I think she has an amazing presence and personality. Her style is different from all the other girls in Hollywood and she isn’t afraid to try new things. I’m always happy when she’s on a cover of a magazine so when I saw that she had an editorial in Russian Harper’s Bazaar, I was very excited. The theme is obviously “Alice in Wonderland”. My favorite picture is the one above, the idea of having huge letters spelling her name around her is great for a photoshoot! Actually, I would love to have a picture like that with my name…and the Alexander McQueen dress too please!

I remember a few months ago I blogged about Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance video and said she won me over as a fan. Now that I’ve watched her new video “telephone”, I am even more impressed. Yes it’s provocative, yed it’s weird and maybe disturbing to some people, but what I find most important is: It is entertaining. It’s kind of like a really exciting game on a site like http://www.foxybingo.com/. And it was damn fun to watch! I just love how colorful it is and of course my fashion heart beats faster when I see all these crazy outfits. Favorites of mine are the studded leather jacket in the prison, the stars and stripes outfit and Beyonces blue uniform. I could watch this video over and over again and not get sick of it. Moreover, it made me appreciate the song more, which I found rather boring in the beginning. I want this video to win some VMAs!!! Here are my fav screencaps…

Vogue Germany meets Grease

I love the new cover of Vogue Germany. Not because Karl Lagerfeld shot this or because Diane Kruger is on it. I simply love it because it has a certain Grease vibe to it. The hair, the jacket, she could play the “bad” Sandy in any Grease musical like that. Also the powder pink font looks lovely with the black and white picture. I wish her lips would be pink too though, there’s some color missing.

Return of the superwomen

This Paris Fashion Week was different than the last one. The clothes were more wearable ( see Chloe or Valentino for example ), the heels got flatter and most importantly the model cast changed. Of course there were still the 16 year old super skinny Russians, the ones that you just wanna feed a sandwich or two, but there were some real women, too. Karolina Kurkova who was one of the best earning high fashion models about 7 years ago returned to the runway, walked for Louis Vuitton just 4 month after giving birth and looked better than ever. Similar thing with Adriana Lima, after seeing her at the Givenchy front row a few days ago, we expected her to walk in some show, still it was a surprise to spot her at Louis Vuitton. French stunner Laeticia Casta even opened the show. All of them showed some cleavage, some curves and a very grown up look that 16 year olds just cant. I’m very happy with the developement in that direction, it’s just fair to see real women in the clothes that real women want to buy.

What made me really happy is that it was revealed that Natasha Poly will be on the April Cover of Vogue Paris! I cant wait to see what she will be wearing and who will be the photographer, it’s definately a must buy for me! Another cool thing that happened in Paris is a photoshoot with Nicole Richie whose pictures looks amazing! Now Im very excited for the final shows of Paris Fashion Week like Chanel!!!!
