When I went to work this morning I saw this advertisement for McDonalds McCafe Cupcakes. You probably think “Sowhat?” Well… this is a big thing for Germany since cupcakes aren’t really that popular here. If I asked my parents what cupcakes are they probably wouldnt know… really. So now Germany is a even more Americanized! I aint complaining, I love cupcakes! So of course I went to McCafe after work and got these two little yummy ones, vanilla and strawberry. Gonna eat them now… at 9.30 pm…yes, I’m having cupcakes for dinner!
It’s spring!!!! Finally warm sunny days, the smell of flowers and the sound of birds, it’s like the world awakes from a long sleep. If you love spring as much as I do, I got the perfect music to accompany you through those nice long days. Daisy Hicks. I got to know her music through a friend of mine and I wanna recommend it to all my readers. All week I’ve been listening to her album “Daisy” and couldn’t help but be reminded of Vanessa Paradis in some songs, others reminded me of Delta Goodrem which is not surprising knowing that Daisy lived in Sydney for a long time. My favorite song of the album is “Baby you know”, I love the beautiful melody , the romantic lyrics and the relaxing vibe of it. Probably the most catchy song of the album is “If I can’t make it”, it clearly stands out and is perfect for singing along, love it! Other favorites of mine are “Heartbreak Hill” and “So lonely” because of the nice guitar sound. So if you wanna see for yourself what I’m talking about, go have a look at her website hereand watch the video that I posted above.
Last week I received a package from Sweden. T-Post sent me one of their magazine T-Shirts and I absolutely love it! What is T-Post? It’s a readable T-Shirt, a wearable newspaper. It always has cool graphics on it, designed by a different upcomin talent every month and inside you can read a great article. I think this is such a cool idea and it perfectly combines fashion and writing, like blogs. I wanna say thank you to T-Post for giving me this tee and I wanna recommend visiting their website to all my readers! Click here
So basically I just walked around yesterday and went into this store that sells cool furniture and I saw this really yummy looking bag! I dont really know what to think of it quite yet, I mean, in our fashion world of “anything’s possible” it’s always refreshing to see something weird or funny, so I like it. At the same time, I would never wear that bag, but I can see Lady Gaga wearing it. What do you think? Crazy or trendy?
This is why I love Vogue Australia! They always give you cool little things in addition to the magazine, like… mascara, a beach bag and stuff. For their May issue which I received today they included a lil notebook with the march Abbey Lee cover, one of my favorite covers of all time! It’s really cute… it looks like a tiny Vogue and I cant wait to take notes in it. Now can someone explain to me why Vogue Germany never includes any gifts to their magazine???
I went back to Berlin over the weekend, spent some time with my friends and family. When I went to Potsdamer Platz to meet a friend on friday, I saw this huuuuuge poster of Natasha Poly for H&M. It’s really huge, it’s like a billboard and it looks great! Just compare the size of Natasha to the people walking around… must be weird to see yourself on a poster like that. Anyways, I thought I’d share it with my readers… I’m at the airport now on my way back to Munich. Everyday life at In Style magazine will continue tomorrow…
Watch out, cuteness overload! I just had to post these pictures of Harlow, daughter of Nicole Richie and Suri, daughter of Katie Holmes. Their mums take them to ballet class every week dressed up in tutus. Adorable…I wish I was a kid again so I could get away with wearing tutus….
Ps. How much does Harlow look like the younger Nicole??? Amazing…
