McCafe Cupcakes for Dinner

When I went to work this morning I saw this advertisement for McDonalds McCafe Cupcakes. You probably think “Sowhat?” Well… this is a big thing for Germany since cupcakes aren’t really that popular here. If I asked my parents what cupcakes are they probably wouldnt know… really. So now Germany is a even more Americanized! I aint complaining, I love cupcakes! So of course I went to McCafe after work and got these two little yummy ones, vanilla and strawberry. Gonna eat them now… at 9.30 pm…yes, I’m having cupcakes for dinner!

Yum!! I love cupcakes too! I only ate real ones once though, the other time I made them myself but it was a bit different from the photos!! Haha
I didn’t even know McCafe existed, and I’m not sure they do cupcakes here in France, or maybe in Paris. It’s not a big thing here either, although it’s getting a bit popular.. Yay!

I heard about these German McDonalds cupcakes on a food blog I was reading. I think we have Maccas cupcakes here in Australia. I know we have muffins and they are really cheap and yummy. You should try making some yourself. Probably, they’ll taste even better than the McDonalds ones. And, you’re so lucky to live in Germany, the land of nice bread and cakes, so if I was you, I’d go to a bakery and buy some cake there;)

Yeah, I actually made Vanilla cupcakes when I was in Sydney, they were super yummy! But here in Germany you cant buy that cupcake mix in the supermarket :(
But yeah, haha, we do have nice bread here :)

Here’s a basic recipe: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/20334/basic+cupcakes It doesn’t look too hard. Then, you can change it to make some more interesting flavours:)
