Miranda Kerr got the cover of the September issue of Vogue Italia. Of course this is a huge thing in the fashion industry and it marks the peak of Miranda’s career. The photos shot by Steven Meisel show lots of different sides of Miranda and she is great at posing! I mean…look at all her bending and jumping and trying to hide her baby bump ; ) Anyways, beautiful ed, cute cover with her dog Frankie and the fact that it’s in 3D makes me even more anxious to buy the issue.
Thanx to mayfrayn at TFS for scanning.

Window Shopping for the perfect fall outfit…online

I’m the best online window shopper. I can look through stuff at asos.com for hours without getting bored. Today I created my perfect fall outfit. So there is this beauuuuutiful dress with a round neckline and long sleeves. I love the fabric, the color and the cute belt that comes with it. My bag would have the same color and would have to be a satchel bag, you can carry it around your wrist or have it hanging from your shoulder and it’s big enough for all my shit - uhm, I mean, for all my very important things ; ) Suede ankle Boots with wide heel, trendy yet comfortable. Now the jacket I chose looks very sporty compared to the rest of the outfit, but every interesting outfit should have a twist - besides, it reminds me of Alexander Wangs collection. The ring is from House of Harlow, can’t go wrong with a big cocktail ring. To add a little color, I would wear this pink and gold Juicy Couture watch, I simply love it! And if I feel very fancy, the lace hat is a great detail! Now if only I had 660 Euros…. that outfit would be MINE!!!

The perfect Burberry winter jacket

It’s not even fall yet, but the must have item of the upcoming winter is chosen. A Burberry jacket. Not the trenchcoats that made Burberry famous. The “It item” of the winter season will be an aviator jacket, like the one that Bianca Balti wears on the picture above. It looks amazing, warm, soft, trendy and very cool because of the big collar. I want it! BUT of course I cant afford it so I will keep my eyes open for the copies that will appear in the next few weeks in high end street stores. Keepin my fingers crossed!!!

The September Issues

You all probably know this, but for those who dont: The September issues of fashion magazines are the most important ones of the year. So it’s always interesting to see what covers the magazines come up with. While Vogue US and Vogue UK published very boring covers, having Halle Berry and Kate Moss on them, Australian Vogue and Harpers Bazaar - in my opinion - have the best September issues of the year. Elle Macpherson still looks stunning for her age and presents the pink feminine Louis Vuitton dress very well. It’s like couture mixed with a casual vibe, because she’s not wearing shoes. Even more amazing is Cat McNeils Vogue cover, I love the 50s meets Rock n Roll style. The third Septmeber cover that I like comes from Vogue Portugal. It is a bit weird, because it’s black and white and Olga almost looks like a ghost, but the way the dress and her hair are blown by the wind is a real eye-catcher on a cover. I’ll definitely try to get my hands on the three magazines and will -again- skip Vogue US, sorry Anna.

No doubt, plaid shirts are great items in everyones closet, they give you that laid-back college style which I love. Model Anna Selezneva wears her plaid shirt with shorts, a Tee and her Chanel bag. Plaid and Chanel? Couldnt be much more different, but Anna makes it work! Also love her hair, beautiful color and length. Best model street style for a long time!
