One of my most favorite things in spring are cherry blossom trees. The color, the smell, everything about them is beautiful so when I saw this ring that looks like a bunch of cherry blossoms, I couldn’t resist and had to buy it. Which cover is better???? I don’t know, because they are both absolutely stunning! Vogue China produced two covers for March 2011, one with Lara Stone during daylight and another at night time. Both gorgeous, both beautiful in their own way. I guess I tend more to the day cover, just because it’s more colorful. Yes, I love multicolored covers. There’s nothing more boring than black and white. Who knows, maybe I’ll buy both! Yes, you may call me crazy now…

Alright, I absolutely loved the spring 2010 collection of Miu Miu and aparently everyone else did so too, because you can still see the influenece on other designers. The tight collars look adorable and I’m happy Rodarte used them in their latest collection. The pieces look like they could be Miu Miu, but they don’t look as candy-colored-sweet, they look more sophisticated at Rodarte. I love the shapes and fabrics and the combination of thick knit sweaters with feminine skirts looks way better than I would have imagined. So far, Rodarte impressed me most at NYFW this season. But there’s more to come, so let’s wait and see : )

Everyone knows Bambi, the cute big eyed Disney character. Well, there’s a different Bambi in the fashion world now. Bambi Northwood-Blyth is 20 years old, was born in Melbourne and is taking over the runways of the biggest designers. What’s interesting about this is, that she is only 1,70 m tall. The fact that designers still book her, is quite amazing and speaks highly of her modeling abilities. I really like her look and I am jealous of her name and very cute tattoo on her wrist. Bambi has appeared in H&M and Victoria’s Secret campaigns and is also a favorite among editors of big magazines. Those Aussie girls are really dominating the fashion industry atm, and I love it!

Ana Beatriz Barros is the face of Printemps this season and the pictures are very beautiful, but what caught my attention more was that amazing tiara/crown or whatever she is wearing on one of the pictures. I am not sure if it’s really supposed to be on the head (you can’t really tell with all that hair ), but it shows the sights of Paris and I think it’s such a cool idea and I’ve never seen anything like it before. Would love to try that on! But would prefer the sights of Berlin ; ) Wouldn’t that be a cool accessory?
