Oh how I hate multiple covers… it is so hard to choose which one to buy when they all look as amazing as the covers of the current issue of LOVE magazine. There’s Lara Stone with hardly any make up and braids and that amazing waist, then there’s Hailee Steinfeld’s cover which impresses me with its fall colors and somehow sad mood and then there’s the dreamy cover of Elle Fanning whose hair looks perfectly wavy. Which one’s mine soon? I can’t decide yet. Can you?

I wonder if the color blocking trend will survive this year’s winter or if we will throw away all our bright oranges, pinks and greens next summer. I have to admit, I already started getting bored by it, nevertheless, Olivia Palermo wore the trend the right way this week. Her DKNY dress looks lovely and although Olivia is wearing five different colors, she still seems elegant and well put together. Why? Because the cut of the dress is simple and the nude and black are a nice balance to the pink and orange. Her statement jewellery has almost become her trademark as well as her shiny hair with perfect curls. Always a pleasure to look at Olivias different styles!

Finally I have written all my exams for this semester and can now look forward to a week in Berlin, followed by a week in Greece. To reward myself for all the hard exam preparation, I went to Primark a few days ago and came back with two full bags of clothes and accessories. Oh my god…I just can’t resist price tags saying “Buy me! I’m so cheap!”. As you can see, I got a beautiful sheer red dress, a really cool hippie-esque white shirt with fringes and a super cute mint green ruffle dress for only 7 Euros! How can you say no to that? I also got some purple feathery earrings, an owl necklace and brown boots. Yes, I may be addicted to Primark Shopping and it will not get better next year as there will be two new Primarks opening in Berlin! One will be at Schlossstrasse and the other one at Alexanderplatz, the first one is supposed to open in March 2012.
Anyways, tomorrow I am off to Berlin!!! I cant wait to be in my hometown again and walk around Hackescher Markt and Kudamm. And of course… do some shopping. Sigh… I need more money.

Tomorrow in two weeks time I’ll be flying to Kos, a Greek island, and will spend a really relaxing week with my BF there. I honestly cant wait and have ever since booking thought about my holiday wardrobe. Since it will be very hot there (up to 40 Celsius), I will basically be living in dresses and shorts. Jeans shorts are a great basic item that belong into anyones suitcase, but the absolutely perfect holiday shorts look like the ones you can see above. I found them on a great blog called Fashion Diaries (go check it out) and immediately fell in love with them. The multi-colored fringes just give the shorts a funky summery twist. Now as far as I understand, they’re from Levis. I hope I can get my hands on them before going to Greece, wish me luck!

Do you know this feeling when you see a piece of clothing and you know you can’t live without it? Happens to me a lot. Stephan Pelger has this amazing skirt in his latest collection, it’s long, it’s flowy, and it’s got the perfect color for fall. For summer I have a lot of maxi skirts in fresh colors like mint green or neon blue, but for fall I want something more bold and dark. This berry color seems perrrfect and I need to get it! Just imagine wearing it with chunky boots, strutting through fallen leaves on the ground…

Miranda Kerr is on a role at the moment! She’s in a different city almost every day, shooting covers, campaigns and editorials. She even got the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra for this year, which was shot a few days ago. For Aussie Sunday magazine, Miranda did this beautiful editorial and I have to say, dear hair stylist, I love you! This cool little braid looks like something I would want to wear all the time! Also, it’s a nice change to see Miranda with something else than wavy VS hair or a bun. Thumbs up!

What indicates that summer will soon be coming to an end? Fall/Winter campaigns in fashion magazines. I just didn’t expect them that soon! My weekly guilty pleasure, reading Grazia magazine while having a piece of cake and coffee, turned into an upsetting pleasure today when I flipped through tons of new fall campaign pictures. On the one hand, super exciting, on the other, very upsetting. To me, summer has just begun, but I know that it always goes by way too fast, especially when you spend everyday at Uni, like me atm. Fortunately, my summer holiday will begin in two weeks and I’ll make sure to enjoy it while it lasts.
The good thing about fall approaching? The opportunity to wear cool coats and jackets again! But I’m more than happy to wait a bit longer!

See through blouses, dresses and skirts are something I have been loving for years and my wardrobe definitely reflects that. When I wear something transparent, of course I make sure that I wear something simple underneath so that you can’t see my underwear. Models like Anja Rubik though don’t give a damn about exposing their bodies in public. I get that… they have nothing to hide, but what do we think of Anja’s VERY transparent dress? Although she can pull it off, I think the outfit shows too much and should stay on the runway, not in the streets. How to wear the trend right shows our beloved Jac Jagaciak. You can see her legs, but her ‘privates’ are covered, perfect! If you want to play it safe, just wear a see through blouse! They’re chic, classic and trendy!

It’s couture time! I love couture, because the outfits are true pieces of art, but rather than reposting the fantasy dresses that were shown in Paris today, I chose beautiful Magdalena Frackowiak backstage at Dior. No make up, but biiiig hair and fancy purple nails! Perfect! Btw, Berlin Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow. I got 18 invitations to shows and offsite events and cant go. f**k my life.
