As I have already announced in this post, today I will show you my two favorite accessories for spring, my glitter collar and my pearl collar. I got the glitter collar online at ABATABA a few month ago and absolutely love wearing it to grey sweaters or white T-Shirts. It is such an eye catcher and also great for party nights, the only bad thing about it is that it’s a little bit scratchy.
My latest collar purchase is this mint colored beauty from H&M Trend. It looks absolutely wonderful combined to any simple top, T-Shirt, or sweater. The material is really soft and the color is, as you might already know, my favorite at the moment. Because of the pearls it looks very feminine and even a little Chanel-esque combined with the right outfit.
I wish H&M made this collar in more colors, but since the collar trend is not even at its peak yet, I am sure to find more great collars in stores soon!

Kate Bosworth has been wearing nothing but Isabel Marant the past two years, which got quite boring after a while. Two days ago, her old stylish self appeared at the Burberry Prorsum show in London. I adore her outfit! It’s casual at the top, ladylike at the bottom, and cute in the middle. Good mixture if you ask me! Another improvement is Kate’s hair. It’s finally not bleach blonde anymore! The tad bit darker hair makes a huge difference and looks much healthier. Let’s hope Kate keeps it like this for a while.

Get ready for candy colors!!! When I walked into the H&M in Frankfurt that carries the Trend line the other day, I was blinded by the beauty of Mint, Peach, and Pink. Those three colors are definitely very prominent in the spring collection of Trend and I couldn’t be happier about it. I spent about 20 minutes looking through all the clothes; there are so many pretty silk blouses, tailored blazers, leather shorts, and also great accessories like pearl collars (which I bought, post about it will follow soon) or statement necklaces. It’s a wonderful spring collection that is definitely worth a look.
I don’t think a lot of people are aware of the Trend line of H&M. To those who don’t know it, the Trend line is a slightly more expensive line of H&M that often uses better quality fabrics and is a bit more ‘trendy’ than the other lines, meaning, it picks up the looks from the runways faster and the pieces therefore are a bit more ‘daring’ than the usual H&M clothes. Trend is only sold in bigger branches of H&M, in Frankfurt it’s the one at Zeil, in Berlin there are at least two, one at Kudamm and one at Friedrichstr. So if you haven’t checked out Trend yet, I recommend you do so!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Yes, I know, it’s kind of a weird day with way too much kitsch and tackiness everywhere. But if you’re lucky like me, you can just spend a romantic day with your loved one. So here are some romantic pictures that are not tacky or cheesy, but simply cute.

I know I just blogged about jewelry two posts ago, but when I received pictures of the new Stella & Dot summer 2012 jewelry, I just had to share them. I literally love every piece. The green cocktail ring, the filigree golden leave hand cuff, and the tribal inspired necklaces are on top of my “I-need-to-have-this-list”. After this long and -at the moment- very cold winter, all I want is to be able to wear lots of jewelry and not having to cover it with big jackets, scarves, hats, and gloves anymore. The Stella & Dot jewelry is so creative and suits many different styles, from classic to hippie to romantic. The cherry on top is, it’s not even that expensive! I’d recommend you to check out their online shop.

If you’re not Australian, you probably don’t know Montana Cox yet, unless you have watched last season of Australia’s Next Topmodel, which Montana, or ‘Monty’ as people call her, won. Now, I have watched all cycles of Germany’s Next Topmodel, some of America’s Next Topmodel and some of Australia’s Next Topmodel and I thik I am not the only one thinking that no winner has ever had as much potential to be successful as a model as Montana Cox.
Montana just got that modern look about her that the fashion industry loves, she can do commercial stuff very well and with a bit more experience, I am sure she can be editorial, too. David Jones has made Montana one of their spokesmodels alongside Miranda Kerr and I really like the first catalogue pics that have surfaced now. Sure, it’s just a catalogue shoot, nothing special, but with the right people and agencies around her, I am sure Montana has a great career ahead of her. Let’s hope she surprises us with some editorial work soon.

My love for jewellery seems to be growing as I am getting older. I didn’t really care for rings, necklaces, and bracelets until I graduated from high school; of course I wore earrings and every now and then a watch and mayyybe a necklace, but I never regarded jewellery as accessories. I do now, though, and am always looking out for pieces that don’t look too cheap (even though they might be). A few days ago, I bought this golden bird necklace from H&M and it is my absolute favorite accessory at the moment. It literally makes every T-Shirt or sweater look more elegant and interesting. Moreover,I love any animal inspired piece of jewellery and these birds are especially cute. Last but not least, it was only 4,95 Euros. Let’s hope it wont change color so soon.
