The Big H&M Online Shop Lie

Unlike many people, I hate online shopping. To me, a big part of the fun of shopping is actually going into the shops, seeing AND feeling the clothes, trying them on and even walking around with shopping bags. That’s why I usually don’t shop online.
I made an exception last week when I saw this H&M Conscious Collection Exclusive dress. It seemed perfect for the wedding that I will attend in June. A subtle yellow, a clean cut, elegant but fresh and trendy. Well, the package arrived today and I was once again reminded why I never shop online. The dress looks completely different in reality that on the H&M site.
The biggest surprise was the color. Never ever would I have ordered this dress, had I known that it is not light yellow, but neon yellow. I took this picture of the dress so you could see the difference for yourself. I know that colors vary from screen to screen, but this difference is just way too big. Besides the horrible color, the fabric looks really cheap, the length is really off (only a supermodel will not have to have this altered), and the neckline is way too low. In a nutshell, I am sending it back and will never ever order something online again.
