Cotton Candy Hair, anyone? I’ve seen plenty of editorials lately with pink haired models. It seems to be one of those weird trends that no one really started, but everyone followed. In some freaky way, I really like pink hair, even though I would never have the guts to dye my own hair any other color but brown or blonde. The world would be a much happier place if everyone had cotton candy hair…

Miranda Kerr is on a role at the moment! She’s in a different city almost every day, shooting covers, campaigns and editorials. She even got the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra for this year, which was shot a few days ago. For Aussie Sunday magazine, Miranda did this beautiful editorial and I have to say, dear hair stylist, I love you! This cool little braid looks like something I would want to wear all the time! Also, it’s a nice change to see Miranda with something else than wavy VS hair or a bun. Thumbs up!

I’m sure a lot of ladies out there will understand me. Whenever I waited patiently for months for my hair to grow and it’s finally longer than my shoulders, I freak and cut it. A few reasons why I cut it: It takes hours to dry, it’s too hot in summer and it looks boring and isn’t shiny enough to be long. But then, usually a few weeks after cutting it, I regret it and miss my long hair. Especially when seeing pictures of pretty hair dos that you can only wear when you have long hair, like Karolina Kurkova’s! I looove braids and I love messy ones ever since Alexander Wang showed them on his runway a few seasons ago. But for a messy braid like KK’s, my hair needs to be at least 5 cm longer. Sigh… that means at least 5 more months of waiting.

It’s pictures like that of Frida Gustavsson that distract me from Uni work! I should be studying for art history at the moment, instead I am surfing the net, hoping to find something inspiring. I would say Frida did the job. Her make up and styling on these pictures are absolutely wonderful and they make me wanna copy it as soon as possible. I guess it’s not a good idea to walk around like that on the campus though, if you’re not looking for attention anyways…

I found the perfect nail polish for New Years Eve! It sparkles in gold, silver, blue and red and really looks like fireworks on your nails! Isn’t glitter awesome? You can get the nail polish at Vero Moda, the color is called Rainbow Sugar.

If you are German, Austrian or Swiss, you will probably know Romy Schneider very well and you will also have seen her most popular movie “Sissi”. If you’re from somewhere else, let me explain this. Romy Schneider was an Austrian actress who became famous over night for her role as empress Sissi in 1955. There are three movies actually, all of them wonderfully cheesy and oh so romantic. In Germany, they’re always shown on TV around christmas so I just watched one of them and noticed how incredibly beautiful Romy Schneider was and how amazing the costumes and the hair and make up were. I love all of her empress dresses, her hair which looks as if it took hours to make those hair dos and her youthful elegance. It’s hard to find such beauty nowadays.

Ok, I am excited. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2010 will take place in less than 48 hours and there have been so many sneek peaks of the outfits today! The best one probably goes to Lily Donaldson. It’s in the heavenly bodies segment and simply looks divine! I also love Adriana’s fantasy bra wings (firework inspired) and the fact that KK will be there again! But after seeing the pic above of the photo op today, one thing is sure. VS neeeeeeds to stop putting this orange fake tan on all the girls! Seriously, in this picture everyone looks terrible (tan-wise) except for Adriana. Pleeeease VS dont ruin the show with terrible styling!

I loved Abbey last season. I thought she was cool, because her look is quite unique. What I envied her for was her perfect natural hair color, although it was “just” a shade of dark blonde, but it looked beautiful and suited her so well, especially with the bangs. Then, she started experimenting and cut her hair shorter before she dyed it platinum blonde. I hated it. I still dont like it. She seems too pale and fake with it, but after seeing this shot of her after the Chanel show, I think I would like it way better if she had longer hair. Those extensions are really bad of course, but at least that way the color seems more special than with her shoulder lengths. No matter what her hair is like…. her street style never fails. LOVE that outfit!

I’m back from shopping paradise London!!! So many great things were seen, tried on and bought. One of my favorite new things is this nail polish from Topshop. It’s black and has lots of colorful glitter in it which makes it sparkle in all different kinda shades in the sun. It’s cool and girly at the same time, perfect for my taste. And yeah, that huge ring is also from Topshop. I absolutely adore it although I cant really say that its comfortable, it’s like it’s swallowing your finger, but hey, it’s pretty : )

I honestly havent been as impressed by anything lately as by those nails. The Blogger from Stop It Right Now posted this picture on her blog and I thought “Wow, I wonder how much Miu Miu wants for those nail stickers”. Wrong. You cant buy them, she made them herselffff!!! crazy! amazing! soooo impressive and so pretty! I wish I could do that, but I would fail so bad when trying to paint a tiny swallow. I could stare at those nails forever….oh and, for all the noobs out there who havent noticed the Miu Miu craziness this season, we’re talking about this swallow print…

I seriously would do anything for those heels…
