seite19 Most sizzling editorial ever

I was quite shocked when I saw this new editorial from Purple magazine. Models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Magdalena Frackowiak, Eniko Mihalik and Freja Beha Erichsen are posing naked in this “fashion” editorial and are not afraid to show what they’ve got. The pics are shot by Terry Richardson who appears in some pics too (looking very happy). I dont know what to think of that ed. I actually love the make up and hair style and facial expressions, but there is a bit too much nudity going on. So much, that I wont post it here, but if you want to see it and judge yourself, click here.

Mustang, Baby!

mustangbaby2 Mustang, Baby!

I love the end of summer, at least fashion wise, because for some reason the best editorials are in the September/October issues of fashion magazines. This one stunned me today. It’s called Mustang Baby and it’s fabulous because it has that old, vintage, arty vibe and Anja Rubik is the perfect model for it. For some reason she looks as if she is straight from the 70s, although her look wasnt really changed for the editorial. I love her hair, her poses and of course the clothes! Check it out…

jalouse2 Jalouse Dream Wedding

Yes, I know this editorial is old. It was published in the July issue of Jalouse magazine and for some reason I totally forgot to post it here, but I absolutely love it. Some people say it’s cheesy but I think it’s wonderful. I got that magazine during Berlin Fashion Week which is a very stressful time but when I looked at this wedding editorial I couldnt take my eyes off it, because the mood of these pictures is so happy and full of love - ok, maybe it is cheesy after all, but in a good way!!! It reminds me of the 70s, the hippie time when everything was about love and peace. Mark Ronson and his girlfriend Josephine de la Baume look like a great couple and as if they had a lot of fun during the shoot. Just have a look…

cravings My current cravings and obsessions

It’s one of those lazy sundays. Had cake and coffee with my family and thought I should be a bit creative today and make a collage of my current cravings and obsessions. This is what I crave for / am obsessed with at the moment:

1. Natasha Poly’s editorial “BB” in Vogue Paris Sept. issue. It just shows how perfect she is and how amazing she can make an editorial look.

2. The Balmain Buckle Boots. They’re so damn hot, that’s all I have to say. I want them!

3. Layering clothes like they did at the DSquared Show - oh, and of course Starbucks coffee, cant get enough.

4. Louis Vuitton bags, especially the ones from the fall/winter 09/10 collection.

5. This amazing black pencil skirt from Zara. A must-buy this fall!

6. Model backstage/ off duty pics, I love to be inspired by their style.

7. Miranda Kerr.

8. Abbey Lee in the new Gucci campaign.

9. Lily Donaldson in the new JOOP campaign. Her poses and expressions are the best!

10. Making collages : )

What are your current cravings/obsessions?

magda Proud To Shop

I have a new favorite editorial! It’s called “Proud to Shop”, it’s shot by Terry Richardson, the model is Magdalena Frackowiak, it’s in the new US Harper’s Bazaar and it’s amazing! I love fun and ironic editorials so this is exactly my kinda thing. Magdalena looks like a super rich shopaholic, walking around NYC with tons of shopping bags wearing really nice outfits. I think it’s funny that they didnt only use high fashion brands but also show shopping bags from GAP and H&M. This editorial definitely makes me wanna go shopping! Here are all the pics…

Waiting for the September issues…

picture 1 Waiting for the September issues...

…and no, I don’t mean the movie (although I’m waiting for that too), I mean the actual September issues of  Vogue US, Paris, Australia and Germany…and maybe UK. Because this August cover of Vogue US is the same old same old stuff as always. Yes, it has a model (Christy Turlington) on the cover which is good, but again “The Age issue”….to me it feels like Vogue US has only two kinds of issues, The age issue and the body issue. And eventhough it might be a nice idea, it becomes very boring year after year. So I really hope that the September issues will be better. The editor of Vogue Australia unleashed in an interview that Aussie models Catherine McNeil and Abbey Lee have shot a 30 page editorial for the September issue, so I’m very excited to see that. I guess I just have to wait…

I was very happy to be contacted by Amanda from PUSH iT who introduced me to that very stylish online fashion magazine. Aparently it is very successful in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. I checked out their homepage and I really like their editorials. The way they style the models and the outfits they choose are very beautiful. Will definitely check back : )

rs1 Miranda Kerr on the cover of Rolling Stone

And AGAIN she is the cover model for a “green issue” ( last year she was on the cover of the green issue of Aussie magazine Madison ), but this time a little bit more sexy. I don’t really like the cover, but I LOVE the black and white pics of her editorial. She’s wearing nothing but skinny jeans and her hair looks really nice on those pics, they could totally be for a jeans campaign!

voguejune09 Vogue Aus uses a reprint....a fabulous reprint

Edita Vilkeviciute is on the cover of Vogue Australia June 2009. It is a reprint, but a great one! The picture was part of Vogue Paris March issue which was dedicated to Chanel. Who would have thought it makes such a great cover?! I really like it….the pose is strong…her facial expression is nice and the Outfit…well…it’s Chanel, cant go wrong with that.

Rosie Tupper got a VOGUE Australia cover!

ffa6628c9da6 Rosie Tupper got a VOGUE Australia cover!

Congrats Rosie ; ) So after a boring April cover, VOGUE Australia got a bit more creative for the May cover and chose Rosie Tupper. It’s a very romantic, soft springy cover and I like it, but I think it’s not edgy enough…it’s too much hair all over the place and too much pink. Anyways….Abbey Lee has an editorial inside which I am very excited to see! After a little break from modeling because of an injured leg she seems to be back. My guess for next month’s VOGUE Australia is that it will be reprint again so I am happy about this glance of originality for May ; )
