After speculations whether this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be cancelled or not, it is now confirmed that the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will take place in New York City. VS Angel Marisa Miller mentioned it during an interview while she celebrated 10 years of “Body by Victoria”, a bra collection with fellow VS models Alessandra Ambrosio, Emanuela De Paula and - very surprising - Lindsay Ellingson. So I guess the madness of speculation can continue now. Questions like “who will open the show?”, “which models will be part of it?”, “what will pregnant Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum do?” and most of all “who will wear the multi million dollar fantasy bra?” are already asked by curious VS fans. My guess: Either Ale or Miranda or Doutzen will wear the fantasy bra. We’ll know better in a few weeks…

Tonight Britney Spears will perform here in Berlin and I will be there to see it!!!! (Thanx Rita for the ticket!) This event made me reminisce about her career and all her looks. Yes, she had her ups and downs but I have to say, despite all that, I think she is a really beautiful girl and inspired a whole generation. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite looks of Britney Spears…

OMG, look at those pants….haha….cant believe anyone would wear theses today. Anyways, this was in 2000 when she had shorter hair, I actually liked her short hair a lot, it made her look very cute.

Then there was this one Pepsi TV commercial where she had this hippie style which suits her so well imo…

But my absolute favorite Britney Spears style and moment of her entire career was her performance at the MTV Music Awards in 2001. It was perfect, I loved her red carpet outfit (Prada 08 anyone?), her hair and make up and her Slave 4 u performance was one of her best ever.

Looking forward to her concert tonite :)

Sigh…it’s the same with every holiday….you don’t want it to end. I had a lovely time and it was so good to relax a little before Fashion Week madness will begin next week. So - short review of the past two weeks:

Cheap flights kick ass, go easyjet! * Paris is beautiful, impressive buildings everywhere * Parts of Paris are so dirty and smelly…eeww * Paris is sooo loud * Paris has some cool Vintage Shops * Cheese, crackers and wine - awesome! * Disneyland is magical * Biarritz is sooo pretty * Nothing’s better than reading fashion magazines at the beach * I hate rain * Ca m’eneeeeerve! * Nothing compares to the colors of a sunset * Shopping in Bristol is fun * Topshop and Starbucks are heaven *

Oh well…. now I’m back and found tons of invites to Berlin Fashion Week Fashion Shows. Will give you a proper post about that later…

Miranda Kerr showed up at the Cannes Film Festival this week wearing a wonderful orange Mini dress. The color suits her so well! Her boyfriend Orlando Bloom looked a bit boring next to her in that all grey outfit, but I guess she picked that outfit for him since Orlando never looked so clean cut before. They are a really cute couple and look great together! On another note….here are some new XOXO ads with Miranda, photoshopped to death though…I dont know why they do that…as if Miranda Kerr needs photoshop…zzz…

That must have been what the editors thought when they created the layout for this ELLE US cover. First of all I wanna congratulate them for choosing a nice pic of Reese Witherspoon. This is one of the VERY few celebrity covers I like, simple outfit, nice pose and no exagerrated smile. But I also have to ask…whyyyyy did you have to put all topics covered in this issue on the cover??? Seriously….this is so overloaded with (unnecessary) text, its not nice to look at. It would have been so much more classy and cooler with ONE big statement….maybe even two, but not ten. I mean… “Zac Efron Exclusive”….huh??? Did you really feel the need to put that on the cover? Or…”No more breakouts”…seriously??? Oh well…nice picture of Reese…

Can it get cheesier? So Marko Jaric proposed to Adriana Lima on her birthday last year and they secretly married 10 days ago…yes thats right….on Valentine’s Day! Hmm….let’s see…didn’t Adriana always say the wedding’s gonna be in June? And didn’t her tummy look slightly bigger than usually in the past few weeks? Hmm….believe what you want….I wouldn’t be surprised.

So the 81. Academy Awards took place last night and of course I am much more interested in the red carpet gowns than in the award ceremony. I heard a lot of bad comments about Miley Cyrus’ dress and I just wanna say: Stop hating! I actually think her Zuhair Murad dress looks beautiful on her. The only “weird” thing about that outfit is the belt but other than that her body looks amazing in it (she looks so tall!!!!) and I like the way it sparkles.

Sorry, lots of you might already know this, but I was informed today that the hot Aussie guy Jay from “The City” who is now Whitney Port’s BF, dated Miranda Kerr a few years ago!!! Jay Lyon is Miranda Kerr’s Ex-BF…wow…I was stunned. I dont even know why I find this so weird…I guess I just really didnt expect this or I am more stunned that I didnt know about this earlier…anyways…so THATS how he got the role in “The City”, haha! Now, as we all know, Miranda is dating Orlando Bloom (Jay is so much hotter - just my opinion) and seems to be happy and very succesful both regarding her private life and her career. There are rumors Miranda will be the new Fashion ambassador of Australia, a title that has been offered Elle Macpherson some time ago. At the moment she is in Sydney doing lots of promotion interviews for David Jones, here are some pics of her from today:

I found this extremely cool site yesterday and thought I HAVE to share it with you. It’s called Modelinia and it’s about fashion, beauty, but in first place: Models. What they do, what they think, what their secrets are….lil bit like an inside scoop in the life of models. The best thing about the site is, their videos are very funny and very well edited and they have some footage that I had never seen before. So if you have some free time and wanna see some great interviews, check out Modelinia, the opening video alone is worth it ;)

Not much happened today - Fashion Week wise I mean - I picked up my press credentials and got a huge goodie bag with some cool stuff inside. Maybelline makeup, L’Oreal hairspray, a Fashion rescue kit (really funny idea, includes sewing kit, stain remover, hair band and other stuff), chocolate, shoe cleaner and magazines. Now here is some gossip about tomorrow. I will attend 3 fashion shows: Lala Berlin, LAC ET MEL and Kaviar Gauche. Several German actresses will be in the audience, Heike Makatsch for example. Now the best thing, last season’s ambassador Eva Padberg and this season’s ambassador Julia Stegner will both be in the audience of the Kaviar Gauche show! Meeting both at the same time will be awesome…I hope the photographers wont totally freak out so I can get some good shots myself. So…check back tomorrow for my report about all 3 shows including pics :)
