While I’m in rainy Munich the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week is happening in Sydney. I would LOVE to be there because I really love the Australian fashion and think their style is really young and inspiring. So instead of being there I was looking through hundreds of pictures today and found some really amazing backstage pictures. I made this little collage above, it’s like an inspiration board for me for upcoming make up experiments. I really wanna try the dark pink lipstick/nail polish combo, so cute! And the ribbons that are painted on the models are so cool too, I wish I could have seen those looks in reality…sigh.

This Paris Fashion Week was different than the last one. The clothes were more wearable ( see Chloe or Valentino for example ), the heels got flatter and most importantly the model cast changed. Of course there were still the 16 year old super skinny Russians, the ones that you just wanna feed a sandwich or two, but there were some real women, too. Karolina Kurkova who was one of the best earning high fashion models about 7 years ago returned to the runway, walked for Louis Vuitton just 4 month after giving birth and looked better than ever. Similar thing with Adriana Lima, after seeing her at the Givenchy front row a few days ago, we expected her to walk in some show, still it was a surprise to spot her at Louis Vuitton. French stunner Laeticia Casta even opened the show. All of them showed some cleavage, some curves and a very grown up look that 16 year olds just cant. I’m very happy with the developement in that direction, it’s just fair to see real women in the clothes that real women want to buy.

Sonia Rykiel showed her collection in Paris today. Now THIS is what I call a beautiful picture. Love the colors and the movement, two things that are very important for a good picture imo. Too bad her H&M collection wasn’t even close to this…

Yes I’m in Munich and of course my time here in this new city is exciting for me, but even more exciting news come from Paris! Crazy things have happened in Paris this week, the VS Angels took over some of the most prestigious shows like Prada and Balenciaga for example. What made me really happy is that it was revealed that Natasha Poly will be on the April Cover of Vogue Paris! I cant wait to see what she will be wearing and who will be the photographer, it’s definately a must buy for me! Another cool thing that happened in Paris is a photoshoot with Nicole Richie whose pictures looks amazing! Now Im very excited for the final shows of Paris Fashion Week like Chanel!!!!

Last night I was invited to a charity fashion show in Potsdam, which is a beautiful small city close to Berlin. I’m happy I went, because the designs were amazing. The designers were students of fashion school ESMOD, but you couldn’t tell that they aren’t professionals. All the dresses looked like something Lady Gaga would love to wear, lots of shimmer, glitter and shiny fabrics combined with oversize shapes, big shoulders and super high heels. I think it is really great to see that the future of designers is nothing that we need to worry about! Check out my pictures…

It’s time for my annual review of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show ; ) Yes, so far I’m only judging by pictures and a few short videos, we’ll see how everything looks edited. So here’s my Yay/Nay list:

The opening with the Black Eyed Peas and Alessandra, fierce, cool and eventhough Alessandra pointed a lot (which I hate) she at least did it with her mouth closed.

Some really classy outfits that focused on the lingerie, like Ana BB with faux fur, Miranda’s black one or Julia’s green one.

Lots of cool wings this year, like Izabel’s huge silver ones, Behati’s peace wings, Abbey Lee’s peacock wings and Maryna’s yellow wings.

Now it’s up to the editors of CBS to edit the show well, so we can enjoy it to the most! The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 will air on CBS on December 1. To all Germans: Pro7 will air the show in about 3 weeks!

In this very moment the first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 is being taped, a second one will be taped later tonight. So far we only have backstage pictures, which are very cool. I love the lights on the ceiling, I love the long wavy hair of Miranda, i love the PINK dog they have there and I love the fact that his name is Steve : D

Miranda Kerr is going to rock it tomorrow at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009. I know it.

Last night I went to the Createurope Fashion Award Show in Berlin. It was pretty much what I expected. Typical Berlin underground we’re-too-cool-for-school-fashionistas everywhere, a big factory hall or something like that with a nice long runway and huge TV screens on the walls. Lots of oh so fashionable people with free drinks in their hands were chatting, standing around or looking at the posters of the 30 international designers. After about 1,5 hours the fashion show started. 180 outfits were to be seen, a little bit too much unfortunately. You could clearly see how people got more bored and distracted after about half of the fashion show. Anyways, except for that it was quite nice, lots of talented designers and some really impressive creations. There were 4 winners I think and to be honest I cant even tell you who won because I dont remember their names, but I think all of them deserved it. Here are some of my pictures…
