Get ready for candy colors!!! When I walked into the H&M in Frankfurt that carries the Trend line the other day, I was blinded by the beauty of Mint, Peach, and Pink. Those three colors are definitely very prominent in the spring collection of Trend and I couldn’t be happier about it. I spent about 20 minutes looking through all the clothes; there are so many pretty silk blouses, tailored blazers, leather shorts, and also great accessories like pearl collars (which I bought, post about it will follow soon) or statement necklaces. It’s a wonderful spring collection that is definitely worth a look.
I don’t think a lot of people are aware of the Trend line of H&M. To those who don’t know it, the Trend line is a slightly more expensive line of H&M that often uses better quality fabrics and is a bit more ‘trendy’ than the other lines, meaning, it picks up the looks from the runways faster and the pieces therefore are a bit more ‘daring’ than the usual H&M clothes. Trend is only sold in bigger branches of H&M, in Frankfurt it’s the one at Zeil, in Berlin there are at least two, one at Kudamm and one at Friedrichstr. So if you haven’t checked out Trend yet, I recommend you do so!

Slowly Germany gets all the shops we need. After Bershka in Berlin last week, Urban Outfitters opened its doors in Frankfurt today and I was there to check it out. About 60 people lined up to be the first ones allowed in, a good amount of people if you ask me, not too packed but still enough to please the staff. At 5 pm, doors opened and I was very happy about the fact that they were on time (a very rare thing in the fashion world).
The store is quite big, there are three levels packed with clothes, jewellery, shoes, bags, underwear, books, CDs, and even home accessories. The prices are pretty high, so I was pleased to find a SALE corner and bought a blouse that was 60% off. The by far best about the store is the wide selection of cool jewellery and the 10% student discount. UO did a good job with this branch, it really reminded me of the one in London, which is a good thing. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.
Urban Outfitters in Frankfurt can be found at Rossmarkt, right at the train station “Hauptwache”. I’ll definitely be back soon! Here are some pics I took today…

Today’s news that H&M Home will open its first store in Frankfurt made my day. When I moved from Berlin to a town close to Frankfurt last year, I wasn’t too thrilled about it shopping wise, but now it really seems that Frankfurt has a whole lot more interesting stores to offer than Berlin. There’s Primark, Hollister, a huuuuge H&M which carries the biggest selection of the Trend line I’ve ever seen and soon a H&M Home and also a Zara Home. I can’t wait to shop for colorful spring decoration for my apartment! Only a few more weeks to go, H&M Home will open at the start of April.
Now can we pleeeease get a Topshop? Or Monki? Or River Island?
