Yes I’m in Munich and of course my time here in this new city is exciting for me, but even more exciting news come from Paris! Crazy things have happened in Paris this week, the VS Angels took over some of the most prestigious shows like Prada and Balenciaga for example. What made me really happy is that it was revealed that Natasha Poly will be on the April Cover of Vogue Paris! I cant wait to see what she will be wearing and who will be the photographer, it’s definately a must buy for me! Another cool thing that happened in Paris is a photoshoot with Nicole Richie whose pictures looks amazing! Now Im very excited for the final shows of Paris Fashion Week like Chanel!!!!

Just returned from Sydney, now I’m leaving Berlin again! This time for longer, tomorrow I will fly to Munich and I will actually live there for the next 3 months. Why? Because I will be an intern at In Style magazine! Pretty exciting, In Style has always been one of my favorites so I’m happy to be part of it soon! So stay tuned for Nadine and the city of munich ; )

All this beauty… Lindsay Ellingson has really grown on me during the past few months, she has something that not a lot models have, she can be both commercial as you can see by her Victoria’s Secret work and she can also be high fashion like on the cover of Vogue Mexico Feb 2010 issue. But no matter what she does, her face always looks extremely soft and pretty which I love. This has to be one of my favorite Vogue covers of 2010 so far and the editorial makes me want to get hair extensions ; )
Btw, I’m back in Berlin.

I’m still in Australia, roadtrippin up north at the moment and enjoying every second. So while I surfed the internet in my motel room I stumbled across this new editorial with Riley Keough. It’s from the Feb issue of Vogue Russia which is dedicated to the US, lord knows why
I love Riley, I’ve been a cheerleader myself so this is a great photoshoot for me, yes it’s a bit tacky but it’s also a lot of fun, check it out…

I’m not a big fan of Jennifer Hawkins, I’m not a big fan of models posing nude for fashion magazines, it’s too ironic. So when I had breakfast this morning and saw this cover of Marie Claire I wasn’t too impressed, but the thing that really annoys me is that this picture is aparently unretouched and supposed to make women feel better about their flaws. Excuse me??? Why should I feel better about myself if I see Jennifer Hawkins, nude and unretouched and she STILL looks a trillion times better than me??? I think someone missed the point in this whole cover shoot and I also think it’s unfair to say that it’s unretouched, because even if no one played around with it on Photoshop, there is still the extremely flattering light, body powder and make up to make this woman look amazing. Here’s my suggestion for you Marie Claire, why don’t you stop being a hypocrite and take a model that’s more than 50 kg for your next “unretouched” photoshoot.
Ok, rant over. Besides that, I’m doing great here in Sydney.

Divine. Simply divine. If only I could understand Russian, then I’d buy this for sure. Maybe I will anyways…

Today I was looking for French Vogue when I turned around and saw Miranda Kerr on the cover of German GQ. I flipped through it and saw that this was the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 Backstage Special Issue. I am a little bit confused because the past years, it used to be GQ UK and they released it in June of the following year. I always thought that was bullshit so I am happy that German GQ seems to publish the VS issues now. These are my scans, enjoy!

The magazine year 2010 began for me today when I received my copy of Vogue Germany January 2010. Toni Garrn is on the cover and looks a lot like Brigitte Bardot! But I love that look…so beautiful and feminine, strong and sultry at the same time. Another thing thats great about the cover is the text “fashion is my love” on the right… I think that applies to everyone reading Vogue ; ) Now I will enjoy the first Vogue of the year 2010 with a hot cup of coffee…. nothing else needed to make me happy.

I just found this hilarious editorial with Jonah Hill and Riley Keough from the Harper’s Bazaar June issue. Editorials that are beautiful, fashionable AND funny at the same time are hard to find, this one has it all… Jonah Hill provides “funny”, Riley Keough proviedes “beautiful” ( seriously, she looks amazing, I’m jealous ) and the outfits provide “fashionable”. Check it out…

Sigh….what a long day… I’m super tired, had quite an exhausting day, but those two pictures made me smile, because they’re so beautiful. They’re part of an editorial from the december issue of UK Harper’s Bazzar. I just love the model Michaela Hlavackova and I love the outfits even more. What amazing dresses….sigh….oh I wanna have them so bad….I hope I dream of them tonight.
