See through blouses, dresses and skirts are something I have been loving for years and my wardrobe definitely reflects that. When I wear something transparent, of course I make sure that I wear something simple underneath so that you can’t see my underwear. Models like Anja Rubik though don’t give a damn about exposing their bodies in public. I get that… they have nothing to hide, but what do we think of Anja’s VERY transparent dress? Although she can pull it off, I think the outfit shows too much and should stay on the runway, not in the streets. How to wear the trend right shows our beloved Jac Jagaciak. You can see her legs, but her ‘privates’ are covered, perfect! If you want to play it safe, just wear a see through blouse! They’re chic, classic and trendy!

It’s couture time! I love couture, because the outfits are true pieces of art, but rather than reposting the fantasy dresses that were shown in Paris today, I chose beautiful Magdalena Frackowiak backstage at Dior. No make up, but biiiig hair and fancy purple nails! Perfect! Btw, Berlin Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow. I got 18 invitations to shows and offsite events and cant go. f**k my life.

Claudia Schiffer is one of the few models whose looks I like better off-duty than on the red carpet. I think it’s so great of her to bring her kids to school every morning, not just because it shows how down to earth she is, but also because that means more pictures for us!!! She dresses appropriately for her age and doesnt try to look trendy, but instead always seems so well put together and stylish. I also love the fact that she carries a Starbucks cup 90% of the time, I’d also stop at Starbucks every morning if I could. Her sweater looks so comfy and her shoes are to die for…gosh, Claudia Schiffer is the epitome of what I wanna look like when I’m 40. Unfortunately I am a mere mortal… oh well…

I’m sure a lot of ladies out there will understand me. Whenever I waited patiently for months for my hair to grow and it’s finally longer than my shoulders, I freak and cut it. A few reasons why I cut it: It takes hours to dry, it’s too hot in summer and it looks boring and isn’t shiny enough to be long. But then, usually a few weeks after cutting it, I regret it and miss my long hair. Especially when seeing pictures of pretty hair dos that you can only wear when you have long hair, like Karolina Kurkova’s! I looove braids and I love messy ones ever since Alexander Wang showed them on his runway a few seasons ago. But for a messy braid like KK’s, my hair needs to be at least 5 cm longer. Sigh… that means at least 5 more months of waiting.

Ok, his outfit is hideous, but hers is perfect! Guys, please don’t wear sweaters with chipmunks on them; girls, please wear more grey sweaters. They’re chic, classic and comfortable. Alessandra Ambrosio paired her light grey sweater with jeans shorts, cool sandals, silver sunglasses and a beautiful Birkin bag. Perfect spring outfit! Love everything about it. Only one thing about this picture is bad… two friends walking next to each other texting?! C’mon people! There is a world outside the internet and texting! Oh well… I guess I shouldn’t say this while sitting in front of my laptop, blogging away…anyways, back on topic: Alessandra will celebrate her 30th birthday in Las Vegas next week and apparently some of her fellow VS angels like Miranda Kerr and Adriana Lima will attend. Can’t wait for pictures!

Everyone knows Bambi, the cute big eyed Disney character. Well, there’s a different Bambi in the fashion world now. Bambi Northwood-Blyth is 20 years old, was born in Melbourne and is taking over the runways of the biggest designers. What’s interesting about this is, that she is only 1,70 m tall. The fact that designers still book her, is quite amazing and speaks highly of her modeling abilities. I really like her look and I am jealous of her name and very cute tattoo on her wrist. Bambi has appeared in H&M and Victoria’s Secret campaigns and is also a favorite among editors of big magazines. Those Aussie girls are really dominating the fashion industry atm, and I love it!

Ana Beatriz Barros is the face of Printemps this season and the pictures are very beautiful, but what caught my attention more was that amazing tiara/crown or whatever she is wearing on one of the pictures. I am not sure if it’s really supposed to be on the head (you can’t really tell with all that hair ), but it shows the sights of Paris and I think it’s such a cool idea and I’ve never seen anything like it before. Would love to try that on! But would prefer the sights of Berlin ; ) Wouldn’t that be a cool accessory?

It’s pictures like that of Frida Gustavsson that distract me from Uni work! I should be studying for art history at the moment, instead I am surfing the net, hoping to find something inspiring. I would say Frida did the job. Her make up and styling on these pictures are absolutely wonderful and they make me wanna copy it as soon as possible. I guess it’s not a good idea to walk around like that on the campus though, if you’re not looking for attention anyways…

Ever since Magdalena Frackowiak walked down that glittery VS runway with those huge blue wings last year, I’m a big fan of hers. These two pictures from a recent photoshoot show why. They look like they could belong to an editorial, right? Well, they don’t. They’re just random unedited pics taken during the photoshoot, but Magda looks amazing. Can’t wait to see the final photos from that shoot, if the unedited ones impress me, then… well, you get it. Go, Magda! And keep that hair color, it suits you!

Latest trend in fashion magazines? Animals! Yes, it seems like human models like Lily Donaldson, Miranda Kerr or Anna Selezneva are not enough anymore for their editorials. Several mags have released covers showing cute animals lately, like Miranda’s dog Frankie or fierce elegant animals like this beautiful horse on Tatler. My favorite of the moment has to be Lily Donaldson’s HB cover, on which she is holding a tiny baby leopard. On a different picture form that same editorial, she is holding an owl. Hoping that they treat these animals right, I like the concept.
