11 days!!!! In 11 days its christmas and I will be unwrapping presents with my family. I still have to buy 5 or 6 presents….yes, I am one of those “annoying” persons who run around like crazy on Dec 23…but hey, thats my problem not yours!!! If you have already bought all christmas presents - congratulations!!! I have been so busy during the past 3 days, got a new job and today it felt like a million customers came into our store and wanted to try on everything we had. Cant wait for next saturday -.- I like christmas….I really do….but I am also very happy when its over. Tomorrow night I will go to one of the big christmas markets here in Berlin, maybe that will put me in a christmas mood…we’ll see

Damn…
Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Nadine on 21-11-2008
…every year in November I have some trouble with my internet connection. I am SURE its the provider’s fault and I am sick of calling their expensive “support” hotline only to hear that they dont seem to have ANY idea about the internet at all. At the moment my connection gets cut every few minutes and sometimes I cant go online for several hours. The reason why I’m telling you this is that I might not be able to blog everyday if this gets worse. I will give my best to argue with those support line nerds….wish me luck!

VOGUE Germany December: Julia Stegner

What a beautiful cover. I was disappointed by VOGUE Germany’s November cover but this makes up for every bad cover they ever had. Julia Stegner looks so elegant and stunning on this christmas cover, it actually reminds me a lot of a Ralph Lauren ad which is a good thing. This will definitely be in my top 10 of favorite VOGUE covers. I cant wait to get my hands on it and see the whole editorial!
Thanx to helligirl from TFS for the scan

Say hello to my furry friend

Very furry I must say but I love him!!! Yes, him….I think my new Zara vest looks male^^ Anyways…so I bought this pretty thing two days ago while checking out the new Zara collection. Zara keeps getting better. I mean, yes basically they just copy the designer’s stuff and that’s not very nice but how are we supposed to spend 2000 Euros for a pair of Burberry shoes if we can get very similar looking Zara shoes for 100 Euros? I know I cant afford Burberry shoes, nor can I afford Viktor&Rolf coats but Zara sells some very very similar looking coats atm and girls, if you are looking for some boots, check Zara. I have seen at least 10 different boots, brown, grey, black and they also have overknees, which look very cool but are 200 Euros. Anyways…just go and see for yourself
P.s.: Chill….it’s fake fur!

Toni, Toni, Toniiiii

Yes, she did it again! Toni Garrn is on the cover of VOGUE Italia November!!! Toniiiiiiii, congratulations! This is quite amazing, her second VOGUE cover in one year. Man, this girl has a dream career and she just started! If she keeps going like that she will be among the best next year and might even be the next Claudia Schiffer ( though no one can replace Claudia ). I wonder how she does all those fashion shows and shootings and still has enough time to finish school. That deserves some respect….on the other hand…she must get paid a lot by now…money makes everything easier doesnt it?!

It’s your Party

Today I received the new H&M catalogue with the “It’s your Party” campaign and I really like it. After Daria Werbowy on the last cover, they went back to Erin Wasson for the new one. In my opinion Erin is perfect for H&M. This must be her 5th campaign and she just keeps looking better each time. The clothes are all about dressing up since we are in the party and prom season now. The funny thing is, I already have two of the dresses in this campaign and I bought them about 5 weeks ago. Is it normal that the clothes are in stores before the campaign is out? Anyways…its nice to see them on Erin and I have to say that I am impressed by the quality of the dresses. They definitely look more expensive than they are, even after washing them, so if you are still looking for a prom or party dress, dont be afraid to buy one at H&M but of course dont do it if you wanna be unique - I’m sure several girls will wear H&M dresses at the next party

Victoria’s Secret Fittings 08

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2008 is in its last stage of preparation as we can see on these pictures of the fittings. We can see Heidi, Marisa and Miranda in some more or less spectacular outfits. My thoughts so far are…poor Heidi, she seems to have some very ugly outfits this year. I really hate this Gladiator inspired ensemble she is wearing, but maybe it’s just the combination of the outfit and her weird make up. I guess she just returned from a shooting and didnt have time to take it off. Marisa’s black lingerie looks really sexy and classy and I also like the feathers. Miranda is such a cutie as always and I love the butterfly idea, but the panties look very unsexy imo. Oh well…hope there are more “simple” outfits like the black one, but I am definitely pumped for the Fashion Show!

…well…not really
But I will be in the land of kangaroos, vegemite and Miranda Kerr soon. My friend and I will fly to Sydney tomorrow morning and arrive there sunday night. Sounds like a horrible long flight, I know. But I am sure it will be worth it. I’m looking forward to relaxing at Bondi beach, climbing the Harbor Bridge and of course shopping!!! It’s always interesting to get to know new cultures and new people…it will be great! We will stay there for 3 weeks which means that I wont be able to update my blog daily, BUT remember my crew will be at LA Fashion Week and of course I will blog about that as much as I can. Hope you understand and will still check by regularly. See you soon!!!
